Talking about that, do you think St Midden were told to kick the ball out of the park at every opportunity, how many balls did we use on Saturday.

I was talking to John Robertson last week, he was asking what I thought about McGhee and Motherwell since his arrival. I told him that we had improved dramatically since the days of Malpas and that some of the football we played at times this season and for most of last season was the best I had seen for a long time, maybe ever in the 28 years or so that I have been following the club. As fans our expectations are way too high at times, interestingly John said the we were the most fickle, moaning faced fans in the league and that this was well known throughout Scottish Football. Something that I would now tend to agree with now. Finishing 7th in the league is not a bad season for us albeit disapointing following the highs of last season.

For fuck's sake stop the moaning. Alright we have struggled at times this season, however at times we have looked like the team from last season. Some players have not recaptured their earlier form or consistency but that's nothing new. I am as disapointed as anyone about finishing in the bottom 6, but I have seen us finish a lot worse and play a lot worse for that matter. Mark McGhee was always on a hiding to nothing this season after our success last season, I for one hope he stays and rebuilds the team, gets the backing he deserves and hopefully improves the team again next season. Let's just enjoy the last 5 games ,support the team and look forward to whatever next season will bring.

And not having manky unwashed bigots sitting in our seats with perfect views of the pitch, while we are crammed into the main stand. Make the home games feel like home games again.

He took me to Fir Park when I was about 5, but apparently I was more interested in standing down the front and speaking to the Police than I was watching the footie. I was actually named after a then Wankgers player who is now a fat radio d.j. Then a mate who is a regular on these here boards and his Well supporting Dad, started taking me with them when I was about 7, I caught the bug, even my Dad started going regularly for a while. Got my first season ticket at 14 had one ever since. Now my 8 year old and 4 year old also have season tickets and are both Motherwell daft.

Thats bollocks, the European places should be for the best teams in the country from the best league in the country. Fair enough if you win the Scottish Cup you get a place but the runners up shouldn't, that's rewarding failure. Whereas the league position is reward for performance over the whole season.

So if Wankgers win the Scottish Cup, 5th is enough for the Europa League. The Fair play place could go to 6th place ????????????
