Went defensive far too early in the match, especially as we were ripping Rangers a new one. Would have been ecstatic with a draw so you can't grumble too much. If only Ainsworth hadn't missed that sitter to make it 4-0.....

He's gone to ground twice no where near the ball. And his instance on punching balls he should be catching is not good for my nerves.

Rangers have fallen apart since the first goal went in, which was pretty lucky from our point of view because it was never going in without the deflection, but if you put balls into those areas something can always happen as we just saw. Long is giving me heart attacks though. I thought Rangers started at quite a quick pace, you wonder what kind of stamina they will have later in the game. Remember though only one quarter of this match is gone.

Usually use Wiziwig TV. Not the greatest quality but you don't have to download anything and probably OK to watch on a smaller screen. Gonna give AceStream a try tonight though.

I won't say I don't care about winning but what I want more than anything else is just a performance. I want to see Motherwell going there tonight and getting tore in. Not the meek shite we've seen, not just at Ibrox, but at most away matches. Things happen in a game of football. The best team doesn't always win, something can happen outside the control of the players or manager, that turns the tie. But please make sure you can walk off the park with your head held high. That is all.

You can't go into a season with these youth players like Watt in starting berths. They have to fight for, win and then keep their place in the team. What I disagree with is not giving them a chance when form or opportunities demand but I don't think we can afford to just say to a prospect - here's a berth in the team it's yours, let's see how you do for the next two years. Given a fair crack at the whip, the good prospect will break through. It's easier to do on paper than in reality but we should have a hierarchy of players in each position going down the ranks. If one player is injured or out of form, the next guy steps up. However I think we need the first XI to be mostly experienced players or guys that have previously broken through and won their position.

I'm certainly no Baraclough fan boy, I think he has made a lot of mistakes but I think you are wrong that he has taken us to new lows. I think he needs to improve to dramatically but we have been better in the second half of the season than the first. The performances under McCall were truly woeful. We have been better under Baraclough, even if we haven't been good enough overall. Also we don't play a McCall style 4-4-2. Baraclough has improved us formation wise and 'modernised' us by playing quite a flexible 4-2-3-1 base. We can play it as a 4-4-1-1 or a 4-4-2 or a 4-2-3-1 and switch about as the match demands it. That's how we should be playing and how most of the rest of the league plays.

Law isn't good enough if we want to be competing in the Premiership or at the top end of the Championship. It's that simple. Giving him a 2 year deal is pretty worrying.

True but so is this. We have won 1 of the last 6, all against bottom 6 clubs in a relegation battle. Baraclough needs to get us through this play off to win over any waverers.

They should have to go to the match on supporters buses. Guarantee you we'd get better results away from home!

You'll have Falkirk, QoS, St. Mirren, Hibs and Motherwell or Rangers just for a start. So 50% good enough for the Premiership. Then you have clubs a little bit below that like Raith Rovers, maybe Morton and Livingston ended the season strongly. Only really lower level clubs will be Dumbarton (minus Murray) and Alloa.

Not much difference between most of the top level and most of the level below it.

All due respect but you sound like one of those blathering idiots in films that the hero grabs and slaps around the chops to knock them out of their hysteria. This is a 50/50 match. We might lose but we might win. It's there for us if we approach it properly and ditch all the Private Frazer stuff. Imagine what a boast it would be if we could get a couple of supports out for these matches that actually got behind the team and backed it for 90 minutes instead of grumbling, sitting silently, howling abuse at their own players etc, etc. It's two games. Give yourself an optimism injection.

I like to watch the players training especially shooting practice and Moore strikes the ball quite well and has one of the more accurate shots in the squad. After Ainsworth, Sutton and McDonald, he seems to hit the target more than most but I've not really been impressed with his play whenever I've seen him.

Those four matches you have mentioned were very much the highlights in a full match season. We had an 11 and then a 9 winless streak that season. That's two winless streaks worse than our worst run this season which is 8.

Have you been following Joe Hart's career at all?

I think Ruddy wasn't especially good in his second loan spell, as good as he was in the first. For me, he dipped quite a wee bit in the second half of the season. Randolph was also here for 3 years whereas Ruddy was only here for 1. Randolph's level of performance and the consistency of performance over that length of time I think puts him ahead of anyone else in my time.

I've been saying it since about October. If we escape relegation this season it's been a success. If it goes to the last minute of a two legged play off, so be it. As for this guilty chat, a lot of the players in that squad this season have contributed significantly to almost a decade of unparalleled league finishes. This season has been very poor but the key part of that phrase is "this season". Fans need longer memories before they start going around looking to scapegoat players, especially guys that have done a lot for this club down the years.

Dead rubber match that was totally insignificant and it showed. Does Moore offer anything more than McHugh? Clean through twice today and didn't have the pace to even make it to the 18 yard line. Agree Watt showed a little something. When these guys get a starting chance they have to stand out a bit and Watt did that. Twardzik showed he's better than Long though. Should start next week but probably won't.

Rangers are stinking. Hibs are stinking. If we get relegated this season Baraclough needs to be fired.....out a catapult.

In my opinion we don't want to lose our good record at home. Need to keep the impetus up and not have players going down a gear. We shouldn't need to rest players with the format of the play offs. Our biggest worry about putting out more or less a first team is player discipline which has been absolutely shocking and something that has to be addressed big time.

According to BBC he is "now expected to join a Premier League side". Best goalkeeper we've had in all the time I've been watching us. Randolph would have won us about 10-15 pts at least on his own this season!
