  1. I have a feeling Craigan is due a goal today. I'd take any kind of home win but it's best not to get carried away. I'd play Ruddy Hateley Craigan Reynolds Hammell Humphrey Lasley Jennings O'Brien Jutkiewicz Sutton Subs: Fraser, Saunders, Coke, Forbes, Fitzpatrick, Murphy, McHugh.
  2. It's perfectly understandable. Definitely is the most misspelled word in the English language. Just think of the word "definite" and add "ly".
  3. Seen as we are being picky on this thread, definitely.
  4. Football Manager can't even spell Hutchinson right!

Delighted with this result, absolutely fantastic! 3-0 is a great result in any game, never mind against your former manager away from home! I'm openly Sutton's biggest critics but I'm delighted he's began to slowly silence me in the past few games. And four clean sheets in four games is a tremendous statistic, especially with Craigan playing such a big part. Everytime he's had a spell out of the team, we have looked far more steady upon his return. Craig Brown is a sensible and stable manager and I'm glad he's at the helm and our team is beginning to have a settled look to it. Long may this run continue!
  6. That was one hacket home top.

    St Mirren

You coulda voted for Humphrey then they both would have!
  8. I just think we could get someone with more ability, better attitude and less baggage on cheaper wages.
  9. I'm not saying footballer are angels, I'm not saying they should be either but being a professional footballer is a great privelege and there are some responsibilities that come with it that. What kind of role model signs an autograph with a sectarian message? What kind of role model falls asleep whilst driving? What role model deliberately stamps on anothers throat?

Went for Murphy. Was very lively. Lasley and Hateley just behind.
  11. I would be very, very annoyed were we to sign him. I must have seen him play well once or twice over the course of ninety minutes in his whole time at Motherwell. He couldn't run or time a tackle and his work rate was abysmal- all things needed when you play with a team like us. Ok so he could pass a ball, and he had a good effort on goal once every nine games or so, that's a luxury we can't afford. When you play with Motherwell, you need to stand up and be counted when you're up against it and Bob Malcolm never did that. He would be a complete waste of a wage that you could probably sign three more efficient and consistent players for. And in his last game for the club he came on as a sub in a meaningless end of season game with Kilmarnock, and he couldn't keep up with the pace of that and he was then subbed for.....................Steve McGarry.
  12. Solid performance today, just what we're needing. Never looked like anything other than a Motherwell victory and I'm happily eating humble pie over my prediction. Murphy was great when he came on, Lasley sometimes lacked a little conviction but his application, desire and work rate was immense. Thought both full backs were great, although we were rarely troubled going forward. Pleasing result.
  13. I would personally play: Ruddy Saunders Craigan Reynolds Hammell Humphrey Coke Hateley O'Brien Jutkiewicz Murphy Subs: Fraser, Jennings, Sutton, Lasley, Slane, Hutchinson, McHugh. And my prediction is that it will be a slow start to the game before St. Mirren score an opener against the run of play in about the 35th minute, we will then spend the next 40 mins in their half but not creating many if any chances before they will score the second to seal it around the 75 minute mark. Sorry for the negativity, but that's the way I see it happening.
  14. Going with the majority here, just an unfashionable Jim Gannon!

What the fucks that supposed to mean Frazza? I wash the top the same way I've been washing football tops all my life. Why should I change the habits of a lifetime to suit a shite product? Considering as I said earlier I've had just about every top we've had, that equates to £80 a year I could spend elsewhere. I'm willing to wait till we get a new manufacturer, if it's 10 years, I'll wait 10 years. Unless we get to a cup final I'll want to look the part for that. Consider me on an official boycott of Canterbury.

Will go down and see what can be done about it. I buy just about every strip, since 1996 I've had every home shirt and all but two away shirts, but I won't be buying another until we get a new manufacturer.

Jaxx is partially fallen off my home top, can nothing be done about this if I bought the top in July?
  19. £15 all over would get the bodies back in if you ask me. I can afford to go to the football most of the time because I am a 19, I've got a full time job, no real ties and I stay with my parents. Others would struggle. Into the high twenties is definitely not good value for money, you'd barely pay that to see a reputable band or comedian and those would be one offs, whereas you are expected to shell that out week for week. I don't think John Boyle's early pricing would work but I'd like to think we'd be able to meet somewhere in the middle.

    Jim Jefferies

Really would not support this. He is the biggest douer faced bastard of a man I've ever seen in Scottish football. Always looking to pass the blame to anyone or anything or than himself. He is just an unfashionable Jim Gannon to be honest. I'd rather take Craig Brown long term. And for another thing, I'd take Kyle at Fir Park in a second.

    Jim O'Brien

I appreciate what you are saying, Pearson and McFadden leaving didn't have a detrimental effect on our seasons, I think McDonald's goals definitely did keep us up that season. I don't see a way we would have survived otherwise? When Faddy and Pearson left we had Clarkson and Adams both chipping in with a healthy amount, if McDonald hadn't scored so many that season our next top scorer was Reynolds with 3! And McCormack leaving did have a big effect on us too, much more than I'd have thought. The first half of last season we had a team that looked devoid of any flair or creativity- something which changed when O'Brien came onto the game. I know no one player is bigger than the team, but you want to keep your good players and O'Brien is one of them!
  22. Couldn't have asked for a better solution. Delighted to have Ruddy and Jutkiewicz tied up for that bit longer, but definitely not sad to see the back of Moutouakil, that boy was pish!
  23. Yeah, all the best to him. Wasn't great ability wise, but had great application and desire, a thing lacking in many more talented players. Will always remember his last-minute header that dug us out a hole against Partick!

    New Manager

I would welcome Gary McAllister instantly, but has he not sort of indirectly said no twice before?
