I'll be chancing the student gate that day! Didn't mind full price whatsoever tonight as I am not a student, £15 was reasonable (pre-match thoughts, definitely wasn't value for money afterall) and half of it was going to us. Not giving Accies the satisfaction of a full ticket! What I found stupid about the turnstiles tonight was a person and a machine. Surely that defeats the purpose. Maybe the person was showing the machine all the tricks of the trade.

Yep, as I said in the other thread his only downfall for me was gambling on the defenders misjudging the bounce too often. I gave the motm to Hutchinson, only one with a bit of graft and fight, if anyone else wins it I'll be very surprised.

Your grin whilst leaving the stadium must have been the broadest one I saw the entire night!

Just try to think of a worse way I could have spent my tuesday night and I'm really struggling. Pass marks only to Hutchinson for me, Jutkiewicz and McHugh were good for whatever minimal service they did ever see. We got exactly what we deserved if you ask me, we were lacklustre everywhere. Those who know me know I am Craigan's biggest fan but tonight I don't think he had one redeeming touch or moment. At the start of the game the players looked as if they knew as well as I did what formation we were playing. From where I was sitting it looked like we were playing a keeper, a left back, three centre halfs, a right midfielder, three centre mids, two wingers and a striker. We got a bit more shape in the second half but even still. Mouatoukil's pace and positioning are good but his use of the ball is woeful. Jutkiewicz wasn't too bad but he always seems to gamble on the ball going over the top. Also missed the build up to the first goal due to an amass of 12-14 year olds standing up in front of me, could have been a blessing. As for leaving before the end, everyone pays their money and is entitled to leave when they like, but if you leave you must expect a bit of stick and if a couple of folk calling you a part time supporter offends you, then you need to take a really good look at yourself!

Although he is showing signs of being a good acquisition, Humphrey is the person in our squad (bar Fitzpatrick and McGarry) that I'd like to see tied up for the next two and a half years!
-
I'd take Billy Mehmet to lead the line anyday!
-
I'd play -----------------Ruddy------------------- Moutaoukil---Saunders--Reynolds---Hammell -------------Coke------Hateley------------ Humphrey--------Forbes-----------O'Brien -----------------Jutkiewicz--------------- Subs: Kosiorwski, Craigan, Jennings, Sutton, Lasley, Murphy, Hutchinson. A hard fought 1-0 win for us, with Saunders getting his first well goal!
-
Wellfan1984- couldn't have put it better myself. Reynolds main assets for me are pace and reading of the game, I don't think he'd be as good if he didn't have those two. I think letting Craigan go anytime soon would be nuts. I think if nothing else, the advice he will pass on to the others is beneficial.
-
Exactly how did he do that? I'm a huge Stephen Craigan fan myself, but having an embarassment of riches is a good thing. Right now Reynolds and Saunders don't deserved dropped, but there will be games where Craigan will be of use. It's too close to call for first choice.

Definitely. If we got that Petrol Blue shirt it would be my favourite away kit of all time!

Goram flattered to deceive for us in my opinion, he had some great games, but a player of his calibre earning what he was earning should have been winning matches for us, will never forget the time Woods got started in front of him against Killie and he played the worst quick free kick ever, hit off Leitch's ankle and put Killie through on goal.

Gordon Marshall was a superb keeper for Motherwell, he was just unlucky that possibly his only two horror performances for Motherwell, came one after another in high profile games.
-
I'd love to get a hold of that shirt, I like it. And it's also a rare design. 90s Football Tops were on the whole brilliant designs.

That day was fantastic. The turnaround was so brilliant. Was in the Cooper that day and seeing everything change in minutes was great. One of my best mates is a big Celtic fan and I text him one word "Easy" and posted Motherwell scarfs through his letter box. He was ready for hooking me the next day.

If it was in any of his first three seasons at Fir Park, I was expecting Paterson to be eating my breakfast every morning! Nah, as I said he was a top bloke when I met him, I'd have him at left back in an instant.
-
He's done the square root of heehaw in the league basically because he has had about half an hour combined playing time! Lets give the boy time eh, instead of slaughtering him on the basis of sourceless gossip.

Met a lot of the players over recent years at various open days etc. Obviously not now, but I used to meet Paul Quinn semi-regularly, as he is from Coltness like me. Always used to meet Leitch aswell, he was always a top bloke. But to be honest, despite his convictions and off-field activity, David Partridge has to be the most down-to-earth footballer I've ever met. He was injured at a friendly at Stenny, and I got a photo with him and he chatted with me for ages, like he did on another occasion at an open day. Uncle Phil was a gent the twice I remember meeting him. Also met Jim Paterson at the cinema seeing Blades of Glory.

That black one is only one of three tops I've not had since I started going to games!

I wore mine playing Football in very muddy conditions and that finished it. Might look for one from Classic Football Shirts or something.

Favourite Home Tops: 1: 1991-92. The first Motorola effort which was basically the cup winning shirt with a band added in. 2. 1994-96. The last one with a "hoop" until this season. 3. This season's home effort. Favourite Away Tops: 1. 1997-98 Borussia Dortmundesque effort. 2. Skippy Sunday effort. 3. The White Untouchables away effort (2003-04)

Yeah they need San Marino to beat Slovenia or something like that!
-
Went for Humphrey myself. Can't believe Mouatoukil got a vote, he was bollocks.
-
Thought it was possibly the poorest game I've been at this season (was on holiday last week), and we still came away with a 1-0 victory. The football was scrappy, thought we defended well and got another clean sheet, although Falkirk did miss a horrendous chance. The only time we looked capable of opening them up was when O'Brien was on, hope he's not too badly hurt. Humphrey also did well I think, but Mouatoukil was absolutely rank rotten today.
-
Yeah he was rank rotten last night. In fairness though I think he was trying to do too much to impress. We'd be playing one touch football and he tended to slow it right down.
