  1. Despite the Celtic strip picture, I never really held it against Pearson. He was just a Celtic daft boy with an absolute cunt of an agent. McKay was pulling the strings when Leicester were reportedly interested and Pearson stopped performing. If he's over his injury problems, I'd love him back at Fir Park.
  2. Burke would be an amazing signing. Surely no.
  3. Chris Burke? Supposedly turned down Birmingham in search of a final big payday in the Championship.
  4. Would expect the club to notify us of the Hollis, Hutchinson and Ainsworth situations soon enough.
  5. Increase in ST price, increase in Euro ticket prices, £800k society target for November. I 'd say we are being squeezed pretty tight. All because we stood our ground against Rangers...
  6. Fans are being fleeced with these prices. £25 should be reserved for the playoff round. I know the financial constraints but there is no chance of enticing many fair weather fans at they prices. The pricing structure at the time of the Breidablik/Aalesunds/Odense run was far more sensible and delivered big crowds.
  7. Maybe we'll end up with his brother Hindrek one day.
  8. Glad to see Thomas, Neill and Higgins signed up. Are they 1 year deals? All the best to those released.
  9. Pleased to see the Leitch deal done, hopefully he develops into playing a pivotal role over the next 2 years. Can't see Boyd coming here either but he'd be a fantastic addition. Much more than a goalscorer these days and seemingly a good influence off the park.
  10. Even if Ainsworth signs, I hope there is a few quid to cover an alternative attacking option in the absence of McFadden and Moore. Unless of course, Erwin and/or Thomas are ready to make the step up.
  11. Delighted he got a 2 year deal. In terms of fitness, he continues to lead by example. There would be nothing more beautiful than seeing Lasley lift the Scottish Cup.
  12. According to Sun, Derby and Birmingham the options for Hutchinson. Derby would be a right good move at this moment in time.
  13. Good news regarding Moore. Nice to see us being proactive in securing the future of arguably our hottest prospect.
  14. Not seen much of McNaughton in the last year or so but up until then he was one of Cardiff's most impressive performers. I can't see him bring available though after Solskjaer gave him a contract extension a few months ago.
  15. Who would be willing to pay a development fee for him though? Do we therefore not offer him a contract as the likelihood is he would accept it and maybe McCall doesn't think he's worth it? Potentially a similar situation to Hateley where we couldn't afford to offer him a contract despite being eligible for a development fee. I'll be pleased if we get Leitch on a 2 year deal and sort out the Thomas situation.
  16. Man City are reportedly offering Sagna £150k a week. Wonder what McCalls deadline is for contract offers. Thought Lasley would have been signed up by now.
  17. Aye Butcher couldn't see the quality in Lasley. Used to do my head in to see him shunted to the right. Not that Butcher will be at Easter Road for much longer.
  18. If there is any chance of Sam Stanton leaving Hibs on a free, I hope we make enquiries. He's got a fair bit of talent from what I've seen.
  19. Think he's still got a year on his £15k a week contract.
  20. If we maintain the same budget there should be a little room for manoeuvre, particularly if we manage to move on the likes of Cummins, McHugh and Lawson. Should have a clearer idea in the next week or so when we find out which of the young ones have signed up.
  21. Deserved contract for Reid. His versatility will hopefully serve us well but unless Murray is ready to step up, I think we will need a replacement for Hutchinson.
  22. At least we are advertising club vacancies now...
  23. Ainsworth at Tannadice. Terrific strike. One my favourite games of the season too.
  24. His back is goosed. Shame really as he was a really good prospect at Livingston. He was superb in his first 6 months at Hibs but then the injuries took their toll again. No sure he ever recovered from the night Higdon owned him.
