  1. Cardiff for Reynolds according to the Sun.
  2. Lame lame performance by the sound of it. Couple of new faces needed in the midfield.
  3. That was coming. 'Flow has had more mentions than Forbes.
  4. Right 3 sets of wages freed up with the prospect of Casagolda and Reynolds to follow. Early opportunity for McCall to put his stamp on the squad.
  5. Length of contract will have been the clincher for Fitzpatrick. Furthermore, if we wanted to offer him more money I'm sure we could have. All the best Marc.
  6. Activatiuon seemed to go ok. But when I try to access it at work I'm kicked back out.
  7. He is not a professional footballer.
  8. I doubt any club in the SPL is spending outwith it's means just now. The banks simply wouldn't allow it. Every now and again though you will get a chairman personally financing a deal ala Boyle with Hughes & Porter.
  9. Agreed. But we should also be keeping a close eye on the lower Scottish Leagues. There are surely 1 or 2 gems to be had. Guys like Conway and Imrie immediately spring to mind, 2 of the more talented players in the league. We seem to have taken our eye off the ball in that respect over the last few years.
  10. Sad state of affairs but Fleetwood must have a wee bit of dough in relative terms. Think they signed Shaun Gregan from Oldham the other day.
  11. Return to Stranraer would go down a treat. Get the buses lined up Mr Boyle.
  12. I think we could do with another striker but preferrably one with experience that could help develop Murphy. Left mid and right back top of my shopping list though.
  13. Interested to see how we cope with 3 games in a wek. It was always a problem under the Broon regime. I'd happily take a point. For me it's all about keeping things ticking over until the next cup games...
  14. I see some Russian mob have made a bid for Adam Rooney, with his contract expiring at the end of the season. Surprised no SPL club went for him when ICT were relegated. Really good striker imo. With regards to our transfer activity this month, I hope that that we can bring in a left sided player that will add a new dimension to our midfield, an accomplished right back that knows how to defend and a striker that can hold the ball up well and will keep Sutton on his toes. This is all under the assumption that Reynolds will move on!
  15. They should be looking to extend Jamie's contract. He needs a consistent year of banging the goals in and then he will ready for a move to England for decent money.

    Jamie Murphy. Well done son!
  17. Thoroughly professional performance Motherwell. Well done. The impact of Jennings on his return was there for all to see. Delighted for Murphy and Sutton. Pair of them showed that they should always have been playing upfront together.
  18. I'll probably regret this tomorrow but Griffiths isn't as good as Murphy. If Griffiths stays in Scotland he will probably be Edinburgh bound.
  19. Other 3 clubs are selling tickets for £15 behind the goals, some family section, some routine. Judging by our announcement, all our seats behind the goals, Section G, have been restricted to family section only. So that would suggest that all routine punters are in the South. Doesn't seem right to me.
  20. Erm, am I missing something? Section G, behind the goals, can't be family section only can it? The three other semi-finalists are advertising adult tickets for behind the goals at £15.
  21. Given where they were throughout my childhood, Accies deserve credit for what they have achieved in recent years. They showed some long term vision and commited to developing their youth and have since reaped the rewards both on and off the pitch. Just a shame they lost so many fans by having to move out the town for years.
  22. Good luck to Aberdeen and their squad full of loanees. Not my cup of tea. Sad thing is that Broon has been put in charge of a club that had some decent young players on the verge of breaking through.
