  1. Of course not, Craigan will still be there. Just hope Reynolds gets a decent move. His development has certainly stagnated at FP but he still has plenty of time to make himself a Scotland player.
  2. Cheers for the feedback Joe, nice to know that we are being represented. I'm all for a 16 team league but I reluctantly accept it's not going to happen. The manner in which it has been disregarded though is what disgusts me. With regards a 10 team league, I'm not a fan of playing each other 4 times a season but the proposed SPL10 is better than the status quo of the ludicrous split and 1 up 1 down. However, Doncaster & Co are not selling it in the right manner. Having more money to bring in players of a higher calibre players seems to be the headline, this is far from the top of my wishlist. I'd much prefer a promise that any proposed increase in income is directed towards a new pricing policy. Dwindling attendances is the very reason the game is dying and I don't understand why this point isn't at the top of the agenda. In conjunction with that, I don't see how any SPL member can vote on reconstruction without a TV deal in writing. Final point on youth, while the under 21 rule is far from flawless, to scrap it completely is just bonkers and goes against exactly what we should be striving for. Colt teams are not the way forward for provincial clubs.
  3. I've always had a soft spot for Reynolds but he has to go now. He must be one of the highest earners at the club so if we were to free up his wage along with an acceptable transfer fee, McCall should have sufficient scope to start building his own squad. I just hope that McCall, like Gannon, has a firm idea of who he wants to bring in. Permanent deals please.
  4. Dundee United are battling for survival. Don't be fooled into thinking they have the interest of their fans at heart.
  5. Decent enough statement, take it with a pinch of salt though. Has Weir replaced Dempster as our public voice?
  6. Fuck the Motherwell representative(s) on the Steering group.
  7. Blackman and Broon aren't doing much wrong in my eyes. This is the risk you take when you take players on loan. I was never particularly fond of Blackman but he certainly doesn't owe us anything. Hopefully a few follow him up the road.
  8. Far from a conspiracy theory, this outcome has always been an odds on favourite.
  9. Think his slight on the training regime via twitter would support those who believed he had lost interest.
  10. Surely with Blackman away and Gow to follow, we could afford a decent wedge of Clarky's contract? It's a matter of time before he returns to Scotland.
  11. The apathy coming from Motherwell support has little to do with a poor run of the form. I've seen more hammerings over the years than I can care to remember but never has the outlook for Scottish football looked so bleak in my 20+ years of attending.
  12. Quickly kicked to one side and rightly so.
  13. Why be afraid to rob Motherwell of your money. They are as guilty as anyone if this goes through. Fuck the lot of them.
  14. If the players fail to pull out a spirited and professional performance on Sunday then it really will set alarm bells ringing. Hopefully McCall has an assistant in before the end of the week. 2-2.
  15. With regards to Cragan's distrubition, we should be playing in a manner where we have a water carrier in front of the two centre halves. The sooner we move back to a 3 man midfield the better. Think it would be best suited to the players we have at our disposal.
  16. Have ticket details been clarified yet? Pretty sure Aberdeen were advertising theres prior to Christmas.
  17. Blackman can go as far as I'm concerned. Talented boy no doubt but he's never going to be here next season and is currently stifling the development of Murphy, McHugh etc.
  18. Agreed, Murphy has to play through the middle wih Sutton supporting him.
  19. Given that we are entitled to half the gate, has the club contemplated running buses from Fir Park. There was a fine spirit about the club back in the days of Butcher when we had around 12 buses leaving from FP down to Stranraer.
  20. While Paul Quinn was far from a flawless character, he is better suited to a captain role than Craigan. Hamilton/Goram, both c***s. no need to draw a comparison with either of them. Craigan has been a good servant to the club but he is neither a leader nor an inspiring character.
  21. One of the worst 'Well captains in my lifetime. He is also going to end up giving someone a serious injury, the timing of his tackles can be well out these days.
  22. Scottish Cup is what it's all about. Once we get knocked out this and the League Cup, the season will be finished.
  23. Aye it was a good reference up until that point.
