    Hearts

Pass marks for Hateley, Hammell & Murphy. Gow is one that will always split opinion but I'd rather watch a boy with a bit of technique and vision every week than someone that runs their balls off to limited effect. Lasley without doubt motm. Should by captain imo.
  2. Scottish fitba has been dying for years. With regards Motherwell, my life revolved around Motherwell for over 15 years. Sadly though, my interest in the last few years has diminished albeit there have been a few occasions such as Nancy to get my back in the mood. No matter how hard I try however I can't sustain an interest over the course of a season. Society has changed, most of my pals and work colleagues don't bother following their teams anymore and it has inevitably rubbed off on me. What keeps me interested to an extent is that I like to keep a close eye on developing talent and Scotland prospects. Ironically at a time when the quality of football is so poor we actually have some really good quality at our disposal. It saddens me to say in but the sooner the likes of Templeton & Murphy follows the route of Dorrans & co, the better.
  3. 1-2 flattered us last night. To be honest I didn't expect a great deal given our recent lay-off and opposition. Solid performances from the 2 fullbacks. Lasley & Murphy carried the fight. Gow on a different level. Randolph was less assured than usual, Humphrey & Blackman looked out of sorts. Reynolds and Craigan in particular were terrible. Meanwhile, Jennings sending off pretty much summed up his night. By and large, he has been poor this season. Fair enjoyed watching Templeton, he could be something a wee bit special. Hearts a stickon for a top 3 finish.
  4. Is there a text version kicking about? Unable to watch videos.
  5. Adams can walk away for next to nowt. Would imagine Stark is in a similar boat.
  6. I'm struggling to look beyond Adams and Stark at the moment. Two managers that ensure football is played in the right way and thrive on developing youngsters.
  7. I agree. BBC old pals act.
  8. Lond diagonal ball up to Foran on the left wing. No fucking thankyou. Terry done a great job at holding the club together during it's darkest time and building a siege mentality. I was taken aback by his affection for Motherwell given his stature in the game. As many have said however , his time has came and gone. He is doing a great job at Inverness and long may it continue.
  9. Who was reporting it on the BBC? I refuse to believe they would be top of the list.
  10. I'm pretty sure Dempster will be on the case regarding Blackman. I have little doubt however that Broon will have already spoke to Allardyce about taking Blackman to Aberdeen. He's a wise auld fox that leaves absolutely nothing to chance.
  11. Maybe I'm a bit sick in the head but I love days like today.
  12. St Mirren were the club in question, we have far more ambition and a much bigger budget than them.
  13. I think the contract situation suited all parties. Broon always wanted the door left open for a move while Boyle always seen this as a short term appointment. Boyle knows what he is doing here.
  14. Famliar names I imagine us to be pursuing: Adams (he is free to leave Hibs should such an opporunity arise) Stark Leitch McCart To be honest, I'm not sure Boyle was ever entirely convinced by Brown and I wouldn't be surprised if he has a very firm idea of who he wants. Talk of John Collins is just nonsense. He couldn't stomach running his boyhood heros as he can't be fucked with the SPL. Would love to see him involved in Scotland but he is not going to come to Motherwell FFS.
  15. If anyone decides to join Broon at Aberdeen, then fuck them. Siege mentality here. Personally I'd love to see Craigan go up there, he's fucking finished. I imagine he would love getting his boaby sucked off his sheep shagging media pals.
  16. Well done Motherwell FC. Tremendous statement. With regards Brown, I am not surprised he has moved on as the contract situation never sat comfortably with me. I am astounded however, that at the age of 70, he wants to up sticks, put his reputation on the line and move to the most poisoned club in Scotland. I have no doubt he and Knox will live to regret this. Once again the majority of fans on this board have shown too much faih in our manager and as a result will be hurting today. With me being a cynical c**t, I had my doubts about Brown long time ago, as I did with McGhee & Gannon. The people I feel really sorry for are the players. In my 23 years of watching Motherwell, I have never seen us put in such commited performances week in week out. I imagine many of them had entire faith in Brown & Know and will now be wondering whats the fucking point. It is time to move on however, while Brown & Knox done a great job in stabilising the club in our time of need, I was fucking bored of the fitba. Yes we were great at times but by and large the fitba has been guff despite talents such as Humphrey, Murphy and Blackman. As many have said, exciting times ahead. I love the search for a new manager and can't wait for the Hearts game on Tuesday. One note of cauton however Mr Boyle, stay fucking clear of Scott Leitch. 'Mon the 'Well.
  17. Part of me hopes your source is right. I would be surprised if Aberdeen had the competence to tie up a deal so swiftly though.
  18. Based on my recent jaunt to an Edinburgh derby, I'd have to strongly disagree with that.
  19. Pretty much sums up my thoughts. Going a tad further though, I always think that once our manager starts entertaining other offers it is better that they move on sooner rather than later.
  20. I'm delighted Broon is staying but recent events underline the reasons as to why he has never signed a contract. Cleary he still fancies a wee move if the opportunity were to arise. Say a more attractive proposition came in from a well run club like Hibs, would he have moved? Possibly so...
  21. Seems like a lifetime ago to me. We fucked up. Never get a better chance. Losing to Celtic in the League Cup semi leaves a far bigger scar years down the line.
  22. 16 team league March to October. Hope the game is off on Saturday. I was looking forward to seeing Killie but you rarely get a good game on the back of the weather fucking up training regimes.
  23. Huge credit to Aberdeen for this gesture. It's certainly not a money-spinning decision for them.
