  1. It's not going to happen. Every time we have the opportunity to make an impression on the floating fan we make a c**t of it. Less than half the fans that turned up tonight will be at FP on Sunday.
  2. I'm disappointed at not feeling any sort of emotion tonight. We never really looked like doing the business against a very average team. Lacked any craft or bottle. Paid the price for not investing in any quality during the summer, bar Randolph. We will never ever have a better chance of making history and sealing some lucrative dough.
  3. Boyle and Dempster, thanks for fuck all. Had we shown a wee bit of faith im the management team and invested in 1 or 2 replacemnts for the quality we lost in the summer we would have fucking cruised it tonight.
  4. Without doubt the most nervous I've been since Scotland Italy. Nae more glorious failures, nae more anti climaxes, nae more feeling cheated. Let this be one of they rare occassions that we will cherish forever.
  5. Think us and Rangers got a few pennies thrown our way due to his age when he signed for Cardiff. All the best to him at Leeds. Should be a decent move for him. Would like to see him recapture the form he showed in his debut season at Cardiff.
  6. Aye, you'll be fine. Would be pleasantly surprised if they need to open the top tier of the South Stand.
  7. Pa Broon doesn't half get about. Back from Denmark in the early hours of Friday morning I imagine, 2 SPL games on Saturday, the small matter of our trip to Killie on the Sunday and then Sportscene on a Monday night. And McGhee was down at FP for lunch on Monday. Wonder who he was trying to tap up?
  8. Paton is a no bad player from the snippets I have seen in recent years. Look at how well Dave MacKay has done at St Johnstone, I think we could do a lot worse.
  9. They certainly weren't closed off at the Nancy game as I had front row seats down the very end. Heading down for my tickets tomorrow, hope I can get seats in the South that aren't too close to the front.
  10. Reserved the temptation to mention him throughout the summer as most folk tend not to rate him on here. If he is over any injury woes, I'd love him at Fir Park. Would offer us some much needed creativity and is comfortable with the ball at his feet. If he is interested in coming here, I imagine any deal may be pending on Thursday's result.
  11. The folk that it matters to know how important the game is. Prices should have stayed at £15. End of. I think we will get around 9,000. Dempster & Boyle will be content with that.
  12. Maybe just the pessimist in me but i would expect Odense to put in a far more professional performance than they did in the 1st leg. They know they are in a game now.
  13. Big decison for Brown with regards to how he shapes the midfield. Hateley's best form for has came when he has played in front of the defence and pinged out the passses. I don't think he offers much as a defensive midfielder but we need him to be really on his game in order for us to try and keep possession. Question is who do you play alongside him. Obviously Lasley will start and put in a gutsy performance, could do with him not giving away needless fouls as we will be punished from set pieces. Then do you play Fitzpatrick or Forbes? One offers workrate and an ability to break the game up, the other should offer a threat going forward and help keep possession. At the same time though, there is the risk that the game will bypass the pair of them. I'd be tempted to put Sutton in midfield, you're always going to get a shift out of him. He will win his fair share of 50/50s and is also decent in possession. he's probably the best bet in terms of nullify Djemba Djemba as well. So I'd probably go: ................Randolph Saunders Craigan Reynolds Hammell ..............Lasley Hateley .................Sutton Humphrey....................Blackman ................Murphy I'd doesn't leave many attacking options on the bench though if we are chasing a goal??
  14. I'd be inclined to put Sutton on top of Djemba Djemba.
  15. In truth I couldn't give a flying fuck about the game on Sunday now. Need to rest a good few players that started last night. Certainly leave Murphy and Humphrey on the bench. I'd be tempted to play Jennings in a more advanced midfield role and try out someone else in the deeper role. Bring in the likes of Fitzpatrick, Forbes, Blackman and Page. Main thing is to come through the game injury free.
  16. Humphrey our main source of attack, Reynolds relatively composed at the back and made a fair few vital interceptions while he had a bombscare alongside him. Think Humphrey just edges it though. If it wasn't for him we wouldn't have been able to stretch the game the way we did.
  17. Delighted for the folk that travelled got the opportunity to celebrate a goal. And not just any goal. An injury time belter that at this moment in time, feels so precious. The fans certainly seemed to roar the team on towards goal in the 2nd half. It was a pleasure to watch.
  18. Seriously pissed off. Will never get a better chance of having some European glory. Feel for the players and management team that gave it. Fuck it fucking yaas tom fucking hateley ya c**t yaas mon the well yaas
  19. What we are missing is quality at both ends of the park. Plenty of heart, well set up by Brown and Knox but we don't have the quality where it matters.
  20. Fuckin unbelievable Craigan. Pish!
  21. Hateley doesn't have a clue where to go when Humphrey has the ball. He's better than this.
  22. That'll be Jennings out the return leg eh?
  23. If we bring Forbes on, then put him behind Murphy with Sutton shoring things up on the left. I imagine Odense will get a bullet up their arse at ht.
  24. For the first time in about ten years, it's time to show some balls Motherwell. You couldn't wish for better opposition than this mob at this stage of the competition. Keep it fucking tight and grab a fucking goal. Come on!
