  1. That'll be Jennings out the return leg eh?
  2. If we bring Forbes on, then put him behind Murphy with Sutton shoring things up on the left. I imagine Odense will get a bullet up their arse at ht.
  3. For the first time in about ten years, it's time to show some balls Motherwell. You couldn't wish for better opposition than this mob at this stage of the competition. Keep it fucking tight and grab a fucking goal. Come on!
  4. Had more chances than I dreamt of. Just look powder puff when we approach the box.
  5. Wouldn't take any of they Dundee United players. Clearly funds are tight at Tannadice though.
  6. Clearly they are skint..... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ity/8919925.stm
  7. Just read a Craig Brown interview with the Scotsman from the weekend. He seems to think that while we are underdogs, we are in with a shout. Has anyone watched much of Odense in recent weeks? I gather in terms of quality we are talking about a team that would maybe get in between the OF on the odd occassion if they were playing in the SPL. Just hope we go there well organised, don't gift them any daft goals and run our hearts out. Without knowing much about the opposition, I'd probably go with the same team as the Hibs game but with a slightly different formation. ...................Randolph Saunders Craigan Reynolds Hammell .Hateley Lasley Jennings Humphrey .....................Sutton .....................Murphy Think we could benefit from having Sutton playing close to the midfield while offering to link up the play with Murphy. 'Mon the fucking 'Well. Please come home with the game still tight. Scandinavian teams tend to be pretty strong at home but I'd be gutted if we had little to play for a week on Thursday. It's only Monday, I canny go to Denmark, yet I've been able to think about nothing else today. All the best to those travelling.
  8. I imagine there will be changes on the back of the trip to Denmark. Intrigued to see how we cope with an SPL away day so soon after a European adventure. I imagine Killie will fancy their chances given that they will have a full week of preperation for the game.
  9. Exactly. Dirty big boy but he knows how to clear his lines. Mind you, I don't think Hibs see that type of performance from him every week.
  10. There would have been another 1500 on the gate had it been 3pm Saturday.
  11. Goes against the grain agreeing with you on these board but you are bang on the money.
  12. Hateley was anonymous. Talking about how Saunders and Reynolds played today. I like the pair of them but it's been clear to see in both Euro ties at FP that we have rode our luck and as soon as we came up against quality attackers, it was inevitable we would lose goals.
  13. Obviously came away scunnered but that was a very enjoyable game today. Plenty of spirit from the team and unlucky to come away with nothing. Not seen anything on the tv yet but it looked like a stonewall pen at 2-1 and the Hanlon goal looked very questionable. Meanwhile, we had the chances to wrap up the game in the first half but sadly we are nowhere near as clinical as Hibs. Midfield still doesn't look right to me. Lasley continues to play in a slightly advanced role which he doesn't have vision, touch, awareness or passing ability for. Unless Brown starts to show some faith in Forbes, we need to bring in a creative player that will link the midfield and the attack. If that materialises, then I'd have Lasley alongside Jennings given that Hately continues to disappoint. Delighted by the performance of Humphrey today, if he can keep that form up he will be vital for us this season.
  14. Heard a rumour back in July, that he would need to return to Cyprus for 3 months at some point to do some national service.
  15. Humphrey by some distance for me, Randolph the only other one in contention.
  16. Anybody gave this him a call yet? Strikes me as a hoax this boy.

  18. Been playing out wide to accomodate McBride in the middle. Apparently has a knack of breaking into the box unmarked.
  19. De Graaf will probably be playing wide right for them. Wotherspoon or Riordan on the left if Nish makes it. Key to the game will be Jennings stopping Miller.
  20. I don't think he will have high salary expectations.
  21. Murphy is best playing right up front. I doubt you will see Murphy, Sutton and the 2 new boys all playing at once on a regular basis.
  22. Great to see some activity, now we just have to trust broon's eye for a player. Imagine we will find out today if there are any more pennies to spend.
