  1. I thought that was how this debate started. Sure someone claimed to have seen him sitting beside a few of his ex colleagues.
  2. Good luck to Halsman and Lawlass on their loan spells. Given the lack of depth to the squad, I iamgine they must be well off a first team berth at the moment. Regards Slane, the boy had a brass neck coming back to Fir Park on Thursday.
  3. I would say we do have backup in the form of Hateley and Fitzpatrick.
  4. Heard something Bop? He was quite highly rated at Killie but hasn't really progressed from what I've seen. Scored 1 or 2 against us mind you.
  5. Must admit I've always been a big fan of his but was surprised to read the praise on here after last night. He put in a steady performance but I think he is better playing slightly deeper. He will no doubt put in a tremendous contribution over the course of the season but we could do with a more athletic box to box midfielder to compliment Jennings & Forbes.

I though bucket seats were pretty common throughout Europe? Must be a new rule since Nancy came to town.
  7. My auld man has been gagging for a trip to Norway.
  8. Few solid performances, Jennings wins my motm though. He's the one that holds the team together. Noteable shouts for Reynolds and Hammell. Re Forbes, sometimes I wonder what folk look for in a footballer. Arguably the most gifted player at the club just now. Offered great delivery last night and showed good composure on the ball. If we build the team around him he has the potential to be one of the best players in the SPL.
  9. So some folk thought Forbes was terrible? We wouldn't have won the game without him. Aye he doesn't have a change of pace and can't track back but he was by far our most dangerous player going forward. Thought it was a decent performance last night given how far we are in the middle of July. Confident that getting another few training sessions under our belt will make a telling difference next week.
  10. Last night highlighted we need a striker, creative player and a box to box midfielder. Replacements for Juke, O'Brien & Coke basically.
  11. Do we make decent money out of Choose Life and the likes?

Will be pleasantly shocked if we fill 3 stands.
  13. At least a fiver going on an away win If I can still get the 12s Skybet were offering. Nae team should ever be 12/1 to beat us.
  14. If you have a look on the Hibs website you will see what they recently released. Imagine we will be getting similar to them. Saw the Spurs players wearing a cracking training shirt at the weekend but I think that may well be part of some premium range.
  15. Agreed, add that to the Coke wage and we should hopefully be able to bring in 2 permanent signings.
  16. Are they 12/1 to win on Thursday? Surely no.
  17. I'd be surprised if there is much more than 4,000 at the game. 0-0 wouldn't be the worst result in the world. Think we will be in far better shape come the 2nd leg. Main concern is the lack of creativity.
  18. I gathered he was wanting a striker on a permanent deal?
  19. Maybe I am an idiot but our game with Hibs isn't at the end of a European week is it? Pretty sure this is when Scotland are playing Sweden.
  20. I was starting to get all excited about the new season. This has been a timely reminder as to why the game is utterly fucked. You would probably have got 3,000 Hibs fans through if the game was 3pm on the Saturday. Lucky if we get much over 5,000 in total now. One live game per week plus a good highlights package should be more than suffice for the SPL.
