  1. Fair play TL, I can see where you are coming from, particularly with the United hat on. The sales/marketing drive can be sickening at times when community values and a love for a club is sadly overlooked. On this occassion though, the ticket office is there to provide us paying customers with a service. And while they have admitted an error in not notifying us of an early closing time a couple of days before a ticket match, the arrogant response from a senior member of staff is bang out of order and harps back to the old regime at Fir Park. Digressing slightly, I think its pretty poor that the office is not opened this morning. Yes I know the tickets have been on sale for donkeys but gone are the days when you can wake up on a Saturday morning with a sudden urge to get yourself a ticket and follow your team away from home. Dare I say that if it wasn't the weekend before Christmas, the office may well be open this morning?

    Ibrox

My 1st ever vist to Ibrox and the only time I have seen us win there. Wish I had appreciated it so much more at the time. Helluva support when you see the footage. It was a midweek game eh?
  3. See to be honest, I believe the club has been making great strides in communicating with the fans but the response from Leeann is more than a tad cheeky. You wouldn't get away with that customer service in most places.
  4. My thoughts as well. Talk of an agreed fee must be nonsense.
  5. Wouldn't offload him for less than 100k, no chance of the Sheep coming up with that kinda money though. Championship teams are bound to be interested.
  6. Think we will be lucky to tske 300 there. Rangers will need to have a right bad day for us to be in with a chance. 4-1 Rangers
  7. Did the Elliot money no keep us in business?? One of my all time favourites at Fir Park. Always had a chance of a goal with him in your team. For a few months, him and Faddy had a tremendous partnership up front. When he left us he scored goals galore at Hull but health issues appear to have held him back in recent years. Would like to see him make an impact in the SPL once again.
  8. I was a bit pissed off with Gannon's comments before the game when he said the result wasn't important. In hindsight though, he was only trying to play down expections. And when you look at our current squad, quite rightly so. Immediately after the game yesterday, I was pretty pissed off with how far off the pace we looked in the 2nd half against a mediocre Celtic team. Once the dust had settled though, I was quite proud of how many youngsters we are bringing through at the moment. I think its time we got some perspective of what we are capable of. At present, we are playing more kids than we did when we were in administration. And while we have a talented bunch of youngsters, we need to be patient and reignite the passion, geit and determination that presented so many fond memories in the days of Faddy & co.
  9. Reminded me of what I'm like with asthma. Running about in freezing cold air does your chest in.

    Celtic

    Top class keeper. John Ruddy.
  11. Man United have got plenty of arrogant c***s following them but I still love them. Wish I had seen this thread.
  12. Keevins headline this morning was that Gannon believes a referee may have already cost Celtic the league. Would be interested to know what went on at the Press Conference. For the time being though, I hope all this pish is put to one side and we are fully focused on getting our first victory for a good wee while...
  13. I'm no surprised that McBride is doing so well at Easter Road. Great at what he does in the middle of the park. Due to injuries though he never got to blossom in that position with us.
  14. Scotland would finish above Burnley in the Premiership.
  15. Given that Burnley have beaten Man United and Everton amongst others, while drawing at Man City, clearly they are Premiership standard.
  16. Forgot about him. Won't be the first time he has run riot at FP.
  17. Fear we will get pumped 3-1, Skippy & Mcgeady are hitting a bit of form at the wrong time for us. You never know though, we have players who are capable of causing damage on their day. Still debating whether or not to go or watch it in the house.
  18. It's the type of signing that is certainly worth making. Many English league sides have unearthed a few gems from the non-league sides in recent years. Intrigued to see what kind of impact he can make, if any. Good luck tot he boy.
  19. Exactly the mindset we have been crying out for in recent years.
  20. I'm no fan of McGhee but if O'Brien has took his eye of the ball then the blame lies firmly with Jim.
  21. Just watched the highlights, looks like 2-0 flattered us, albeit Murphy was booked for what was a stonewall pen. Massive game for us next week.
  22. Just hope we can get some permanent signings to ensure that we are building for the future.
  23. Think we have to move Hately to right back in an attempt to keep Riordan quiet. If we put in a strong defensive display, I think we might just nick it.
  24. I just with our manager would stick to his job. Seems a tad to eager to upset people.
