  1. Haven't seen that quote of McGhee's but if he was planning to pinch a player from whoever got relegated today, I guess he will be rather disappointed that Falkirk stayed up. Don't really rate many ICT players but the likes of Arfield, McCann or Higdon would have been welcome at FP.
  2. Rangers opener at Ibrox a few months back done my nut in.
  3. Aye, don't really see the point in reducing prices to £15. Could offer folk a fiver to come and they would still mull it over.
  4. Nice one Mitch ya jammy get.
  5. Best 'Well related news I've heard for a while.
  6. Kiegan Parker on trial at Killie. They could have a very decent partnership up front next season.
  7. Game of the season: Wasn't at Tannadice so 1-1 draw at home to Celtic. Goal of the season: Sutton at Ibrox. Player of the Year: Hughes. Best Moment: everything bar the fitba in Nancy. Worst Moment: first trip to the new Love Street. Worst Player of the Year: Nobody has been diabolical tbh. Surprise of the Year: Jamie Murphy not making more of an impact. Young player of the Year: O'Brien, lack of competition. Overall: In terms of where we have finished in the league it has been a decent season. In truth though, its been a far from enjoyable season with few highs on the park. Glad to get it out the way. I'm hoping the summer break reignites my interest. 5/10.
  8. I'd take him in a second at FP. I had presumed he would be well out of our budget though!
  9. Apparently set for talks with Toronto.
  10. Remember his performance against Rangers in the 1-0 Boxing Day game. The last time we happened to beat Rangers. Must admit I thought he would go on to have a more prosperous career.
  11. Why is McGhee waiting until after the last game though? McGhee doesn't seem overly keen on McLean to be honest. Personally, I think he is a cracking defender that gives us much needed presence.
  12. I might be wrong but I don't think he has been offered one yet.
  13. I'll be devestated the day Paul Quinn leaves Motherwell.
  14. The more I read about this boy the more I wonder about McLeans future. Hopefully we are looking to have both of them on board but I'll be disappointed if McLean is punted at the expense of this boy! Meanwhile, good players can come out of these diddy leagues. Remember nobody wanted Scott McDonald...
  15. We are fortunate to have sampled such an amazing day. Despite being 6 at the time, I can still remember most of the day clear as day. I very much doubt anything will ever beat that!
  16. Didn't realise the two lads are English. Good to see we are casting the net further afield for young talent.
  17. I'm firmly in the keep Sheridan camp. Wasn't too keen on the original signing but he looks a right good prospect at times. As well as offering pace, presence and effort, he'd bang in 15 a season nae bother.
  18. This boy Hutchison a left back?
  19. Totally appreciate that 'Flow and there ain't much we can do about it. Paying the price for cutting corners throughout the Boyle era. Frustrating times ahead.
  20. Charlie Adam is not the type of player we should be chasing anyway. Up and coming raw talent surrounded by a couple of experienced heads is the way forward in the current climate.
  21. Sounds like McGhee is getting his excuses in early doors. Financially we are all in the same boat, indeed we are probably better off than many of our SPL counterparts. It is somewhat concerning that we lost out on the boy Davidosn but I reckon McGhee could have had him if he really wanted him. Time to knuckle down and get the best out of what we have.
  22. Met Imrie a fair few times while working in Lanark. Seemed alright to me but everyone suggested that you should give him a wide berth. There are plenty of wankers in fitba mind you. Personally though, I don't think he is anything special. No more chat on Barrowman? Stand out performer at School with good pace and an eye for goal. Banged in the goals in the 1st Division I think but he has struggled to make it in the SPL. Given the troubles at Clyde, I imagine Pat Clarke will be on the radar.
  23. Miller would be worth a shot I reckon. Most SPL clubs will probably chase him though!
