With Lustig injured and a lack of rb options, I was wondering if theyd go with Forrest as rwb and either Sinclair or Macgregor on left.

Edinburgh derby again is unreal. Tricky draw for us but its one to look forward too. Results at Easter Road and Ibrox show they cant be taken lightly.

The quality of the built-up play and finish for the 2nd goal is outstanding. Heres hoping they can repeat it next week. Moult loves to provide a memorable double against the big teams (Celtic x 2, Rangers, Aberdeen x 2 and Hibs).

From what Ive heard and read, I think weve went with a 4312 that has Dunne at left back and Cadden in the hole. Im looking forward to the highlights. Few strange choices but there are varying interpretations of what makes a great. Randolph and Boyd are two of the greatest Motherwell players Ive seen who went on to succeed at international level. Imagine McAllister and possibly McLair would have made my list if I were a wee bit older. Anyway, glad to hear it was a good night and a decent whack has went into the WS.

I think this is perfect preparation for the final. A game that will need us fully concentrated and close to our best to get a result. All going well, Id hope to start the next 2 games with the same shape and personel. Slight worry would be Cadden and Campbell coming back leggy from their international exploits as happened against Accies iirc.

I dont envy Robinson trying to work out his best shape and personal to at least try and compete with Celtic so Im not going to try. Nevertheless, three of the many things Id want to address are: 1. Our right hand side needs to be strong in numbers to try and prevent being overran by the Tierney, Sinclair and Armstrong. Id like Tait and Cadden on the same wing. We cant leave a gap between the wing back and Kipre. 2. We need to have a balance in the middle of the park. As well as battling with Brown, we need a bit of composure when we have the ball. Id therefore want both Bigi and Campbell in there as part of a 3 man midfield. 3. Celtics one weak spot is at the back, try and get in behind them as much as you can and ensure we can get some quality deliveries into the box. Could do with Frear hitting form... If we manage to beat an invincible Celtic team on the back of comfortably beating Aberdeen and Rangers, winning this cup would surpass the achievement of 91.

Watching sportscene there, Kipres defending was comical for 2nd and 3rd. Starting to look like his horrendous first half at hampden wasn't purely down to illness. At least Celtic look to be going off the boil...

Thats a right bad result today on the back of the Hibs performance with league games against Aberdeen, Celtic x 2 and Hearts to come. To be honest though, the performances havent been good for a while and the victories against Hamilton and Rangers glossed over that. I wonder if today will prompt Robinson to reconsider the back 3 now that the obvious flaws in the tactic are finally being exploited by other teams. Hopefully we can muster a confidence boosting performance at Aberdeen ahead of the trip to Hampden.

Its been effective to date but after a full round of games, teams are inevitably starting to suss out our weaknesses and have a game plan to try and nullify our strengths. We have the squad depth and diversity in skills to alter the balance of the team accordingly.

This is a big game. Lose and we risk losing a fair bit of momentum when you look at the next 4 league fixtures - Aberdeen away, Celtic twice and Hearts away. As Ive said in the Hibs thread Id like to see Bigirimana and/or Tanner start to provide some guile at the expense of the huff and puff Rose and/or Bowman offer.

Potentially the best player but hes came in for a fair amount of criticism this season. Forrest will no doubt step in and cause us bother as he often does. If I could chose anyone to miss out for Celtic it would be Scott Brown, they tend to struggle without his ability to lead and set the tempo.

Its been difficult to question the starting XI given our excellent run but hopefully over the next few weeks, we can work out how to incorporate the footballing ability of Bigi and/or Tanner into the team without sacrificing our physical edge too much.

Very surprised Celtic have been allocated B6-B8, I thought we would have held out for 15,000. Im not going to complain about the price of a cup final ticket but the £5 increase seems a tad unnecessary.
