  1. The Sun, who revealed the imminent Cummings move, reporting Hibs are interested in Stewart and Moult.
  2. I'd always welcome Quinn back, particularly with the diminishing contribution of Lasley and Hammell, however I thought injuries were starting to catch up with him. Talking of ex Motherwell defenders, I wonder where Nicky Devlin will end up. Left Ayr and seemingly one of the best players in the Championship last season.
  3. According to the Sounders, he's a defensive midfielder that can play centre back or right back. He may have a Pearson/Cadden type engine but more of a defensive all rounder with less technical ability I suspect.
  4. I agree Moult is the better striker but Cummings has 3 years to go in his contract while Moult can sign a pre-contract in 6 months. Hibs are in a strong position financially and their manager has publically stated their ambition to finish top 2. With record ST sales, serious money will be spent. I suspect Liam Boyce will be their first choice striker mind you.
  5. Cummings to complete a big money move to Notts Forest. Wouldn't be overly surprised if Lennon makes a move for Moult.
  6. 57% rise on where we were this time last year, that's adults and kids combined. Given the dwindling numbers in recent years, the aim has to be increasing the adult ST base by 10%+.
  7. Craigan has signed Liam Brown from Queens Park for the u20s. Highly rated midfielder.
  8. I hope we are looking for an out and out left back, an absolute priority for me. We should have enough of a budget to ensure we don't fill our first choice spots with versatility.
  9. I've not seen him, found this when reading up on Bigi. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/football/midfielder-andy-rose-hailed-coventry-12140989.amp Upon further reading he seems to have had his fair share of injuries. Coventry fan from on here will know more.
  10. So a box to box midfielder if we are talking Andy Rose.
  11. Brad Inman? Ex Newcastle, recently transfer listed by Peterborough. Interestingly, Peterborough have also transfer listed an experienced NI right back, Michael Smith, and a pacy forward that we previously had a bid rejected for, Shaq Coulthirst.
  12. A major overhaul of the midfield is long overdue as we haven't been able to control a game through possession, or protect the defence, for a number of years. The arrival of Bigi and a Scougall type alongside McHugh should go a long way to addressing that weakness. We then have good youth prospects in Campbell, Gordon and Turnbull to provide completion for places, albeit Turnbull may well go out on loan. Clay will be out the door if we can find a non-league team that wants him. Lasley's role remains to be seen. With Frear and Cadden key components of Robinsons team last season, my hunch is that Tanner will be in and out the team, similar to Ross McLean possibly. Will be interesting to see if Dom Thomas will be given much of a chance; I wonder how much of a role Robinson had in given him (and indeed Luke Watt) 3 year contracts.
  13. Going into every game believing we can win will do for me. Last season, McGhee was effectively writing us off before we took to the field against the likes of Hearts and Aberdeen. If this can be packaged with a purposeful style of football and the emergence of a couple of exciting players, then we should be in for an enjoyable season.
  14. Popped up on my feed yesterday. https://twitter.com/rickc8669/status/872122055235440640
  15. Hope Motherwell put a clause in Carson's contract to ensure his father keeps his bigoted mouth buttoned on Twitter.
  16. Jones would be described as a winger. Hope we are in the hunt for him but the suggestion was he'd sign a new Killie deal once big Lee was confirmed.
  17. Scougall is off on holiday so I doubt he'll be signing for anyone this week.
  18. Very much agree with quality over quantity but we have a lot to replace assuming Robinson manages to clear the deadwood. 3 signings this week all but confirmed. Fair few more to come.
  19. Yeah, sounds like Robinson would rather have Lasley as a coach/assistant than a player. Wonder who the attacking midfielder will be. Carey looks out of reach but Scougall is a possibility. Interesting that Robinson is also pursuing players under contract.
  20. Assuming we get rid of the deadwood and Moult is sold, I think we'll be looking at around 10 more signings.
  21. From the snippets I read on Tanner last week, the Plymouth fans were fond of him but they weren't surprised or overly disappointed to see him move on. Sounds like he has good technical ability but his final product leaves a lot to be desired. Investing in potential here, may start of as a versatile squad player as I expect us to sign a number 10 and a winger.
  22. Return of Ripley wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.
  23. The vibe coming out from the club is that we have learned lessons from last season. That being the case, I expect Robinson to bring in an experienced coach, someone he can trust to share the burden. I still think Lasley has a year or two left in him if he's willing to play at lower level. Ideally, he'll get a player/coaching role at the likes of St Mirren or Ayr.
  24. Aye, Les was splashing the cash. Wonder what the future holds for Vuckic, think his 6 year deal at Newcastle is finally up.
