Moult to Rangers wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. He seems pretty settled up here and would be a perfect signing for them. One that would shift season tickets. If they make offers for Moult and Heneghan, I'd expect a cash plus player(s) offer. For instance, Halliday and O'Halloran are out the door if they can find a club.

Heneghan arrived at Motherwell with a half decent reputation so I imagine a few English scouts have been monitoring him for some time. He's had a tough few months, particularly since we moved to a back 3 but I was initially impressed with him and I can see why teams would be willing to take a punt. If the Rangers interest is genuine, I wonder if a swap deal could be on offer as they are looking to offload a number of contracted players.

Sums it up perfectly with more than half the team playing out of position, nullifying any quality we do have. The deep McDonald role reminds me of the bizarre Craig Moore experiment back in the early days of Baraclough and Robinson. Robinson was an uninspired appointment by McMahon and Burrows at the time and it's inevitably came back to haunt us. I'd say the players are trying but it's clear as day they don't have faith in the manager. Understandably so. Oldhams form post Robinson should have ensured he wasn't in the running for a managerial role anytime soon.
