Looks like Robinson is in tune with the majority of fans. -
Mcmanus - You Don't Know What You Have Got Till It's Gone

By and large, McManus was fairly steady for us during McGhee's time. While he hasn't always met expectations, he's a significant loss at the crunch end of the season. Due to the imbalance of our squad, his injury has been a double blow as we've had to put our best midfielder in defence. -
Does the recent marketing material and changes to the website suggest a grey away kit for 2017/18? If so, this new QotS kit might be an indication of what to expect: http://store.qosfc.com/1718-away-replica-top

Last season, the price was increased based on the increase in number of Cat A games following the 'return' of Rangers. Obviously this didn't come to fruition due to a club oversight. Using this logic though, if we are relegated surely the 2017/18 price will be reduced as we will have 18 Cat C games? On a side note, concession age remains 60. Is it not about time this was brought into line with retirement age? We are potentially missing out on a fair whack from a sizeable cohort of our support that will have above average earnings.

Agyeman certainly looked a handful in the highlights. Fine strike from Semple too, think he is 16. Cole Starrs just 14. Good to see Turnbull notch another terrific goal. Thought he was a shade unlucky not to get a game ahead of Shea Gordon on Saturday. The way we are playing, we could do with a threat from outside the box.

There has to be a change in formation and tactics that takes out the 'chance' of long ball football. Play to the strengths of McDonald, Moult, Cadden, Frear and Ainsworth and see where it takes us. Hopefully McDonald and Pearson recover in time. -
Whatever the structure we appear to have far too many people involved which has led to an inevitable lack of leadership and accountability.

Not fit to wear the shirt XI since Les arrived, in the managers favoured 343: Samson Heneghan Jules Chalmers N Thomas Clay Lucas Straker Fletcher Blyth Bowman Belic, Taylor and Griffiths never to be seen.
-
Following weeks of long ball guff that comprises of 3 strikers and 2 wingers playing out of position for large spells, I have absolutely no confidence in Robinson's ability to build a squad that is worth watching.
-
Agreed. We've had a rough ride with disallowed goals but if we weren't so incompetent ourselves, we'd be sitting comfortably.
-
Frear for me too. Shame the manager has converted him into a left back.

One small blessing of relegation is that it'll get the various non-footballing wasters, who are seemingly experts in fan engagement, marketing etc, off the wage bill. -

Very bleak performance. For the first time in my life however the prospect of relegation doesn't fill me with dread. This team thoroughly deserves relegation. The players can't be faulted for effort but sadly the majority of them aren't good enough and we've landed a manager whose sole attacking tactic is the long ball. -
Scott Burns running with the story so this looks like a genuine link.
-
The squad has been inflated since Les started loaning us money. Much of our success has stemmed from small squads and we need to go back to focusing on quality. I can think of at least 13 players recruited in last 3 years that have been either unnecessary or not good enough.

Mannus is an inevitable rumour but I hope we steer clear as I've never been particularly convinced by him. Regarding some of the Scottish Championship players mentioned above, I expect Aberdeen and Hibs to be vying for the signature of Mallan and Morgan. Quitongo might be an outside shout if we have scope for a transfer fee. Luke Leahy is a player I've liked for some time. Hopefully we are in the running for him. Assuming we stay in the premier league, it will be interesting to see our transfer policy in the summer. At a time when we are likely to lose our 'identity' with a few club legends potentially moving on, I'd like to see us dabble in the Scottish market once again. I've had enough of dross like Clay and Blyth telling us they can't wait to play for such a big club.
-
Surely all clauses would be related to his time at Sheffield United?
-
Delighted for Murphy. Derek Adams also promoted today. Looks to have done a terrific job at Plymouth.
-
I rate Hartley but by his own admission he had run out of ideas, similar to McCall's time here. He should be able to get a decent job soon enough. From a Motherwell perspective we just need to focus on ourselves. If we can't secure safety with the run of fixtures we've been given, then we'll be deservedly relegated.

Lee Erwin.

A Scottish striker that has played at a high level and is within reach of a provincial Scottish club? Genuinely struggle to think of anyone.
-
Very encouraging performances from Campbell and Frear but the best player on the park was Scott McDonald. Nod to Lionel who significantly helped turn the game in our favour.
-
Far from out of trouble but today gives us hope. Hope that we can score goals and hope that when things get tough, we have a wee bit of mental strength about us. Highlight of the day was seeing Campbell make such a positive contribution. I thought he got off to a ropey start (not helped by the anonymous Pearson) but he went on to put in the composed and tenacious performance I'd expect from him. He's a terrific prospect if we manage him well. Thought we looked a far better outfit when we went 442 and got Ainsworth on. Hopefully the return of Tait will see us revert to a formation that gets the best out of our attacking players.

Given the 'controversy' around the imbalance of old firm visits at the start of the season, I think the league will do its best to ensure we (and anyone else affected) finishes with 19/19. Accies and Inverness away are nailed on, hopefully the latter isn't midweek.
