Unless McGhee stays longer than anticipated I expect Lasley or Craigan to be our next manager. This should provide the necessary continuity in an environment that reportedly has an embedded structure that supports player recruitment, player development and sport science.

Add in possible TV income and that would have set us up well for the future. The downside is that our first game would be 30th June.

Didn't have a chance to follow the game but what a terrific result, with an injury time winner making it all the sweeter. Full credit to the players for grinding out a result. I was worried the absence of McGhee and Robinson during the Internatonal break would result in us not turning up today. Gutted I'm going to miss the visit of Celtic next week.

Good news regarding Campbell. He's clearly highly thought of by the club. Hopefully there will be some good news to follow on Ben Hall.

Note that Hibs made Pat Stanton an honorary member of the equivilant organisation today. This compliments s number of ex players they have on board to lead the group. Wonder if we will explore a similar route. Getting ex players on board with 1 or 2 playing an active role would certainly help lift the profile of the cause.

It was evident at the time that Law had played his last season as a right back at the semi-professional outfit, despite being a midfielder by trade. That set off a few alarm bells regarding McCall's judgement at the time.

Thanks for sharing Superward. Sensible and responsible approach outlined. However, I imagine it will take some juggling of figures to prove that we are self sustainable on the worst case scenario while making repayments to LH and matching the ambition of McGhee.

I really like Kennedy. He's prone to an error but so was Hutchinson. On Saturday I thought he looked more comfortable with the ball at his feet. Indeed the first goal stemmed from his willingness to create. Credit to McGhee. I feared that Laing and Kennedy were getting treated a tad harshly since December but the managers' approach seems to be having the desired effect on the pair of them now.

A bit of a silly question maybe but once the fans have 75% share in the club will the WS definitely still exist as one group representing that shareholding? Personally, I know the offer of individual shares has always been there but I may find it more enticing now if we are fan owned to invest that way, particularly if I continue to be unimpressed by the WS.

With many folk receiving upwards of 100 emails a day, there has to be multiple forms of communication to meet your audience. Having said that, I never miss the weekly updates from Motherwell or the First Minister (there's an example of paying £5 a month and feeling fully engaged in a progressive and informed environment).

The week before Rocco Quinn put Ross County ahead at Fir Park before we went on to win 3-2. Doesn't quite match the criteria of your question but a couple of comebacks that immediately spring to mind.

Win this and then top 4 becomes a distinct possibility. Slight concern is the absence of McGhee and Robinson for much of the next fortnight. Hopefully the players enjoy their rest and can then pick up from where they left off.
