Aberdeen weren't quite saved from relegation but they were the first club to benefit from the Brockville situation. They should have played in a play off with Falkirk for a place in the SPL the next season but with Falkirk still being at Brockville this was avoided. Falkirk just kicked up a fuss when it was us because they felt they had a better chance politically of getting our place. The media and SPL clubs would have been completly behind Aberdeen.

As I said on the other thread I think you've misunderstood his response; the reply as above stated that the Fair play league took the other points into consideration and it was via this we qualified for the Europa Cup. The disciplinary analysis, for which St Midden were commended, only includes red and yellow card (but also includes cup competitions). Since we had two less yellows than the Middens with the same number of reds but also played one less; I still can't understand how they were commended and we wern't.

From my memories of sitting in the two stands there is more room in the east. Granted it's a few years since I sat in the East.

As far as I check in all competitions both Motherwell and St Mirren had 4 red cards, Motherwell had 2 less yellows (55) than St Mirren (57) but The 'Well played one less game.

Never understood that phrase; if it was cheap at half the price does that make it expensive at that price. It makes more sense to be "cheap at double the price".

What he trying to say is last year the family ticket was £355, this year it is a priced freezed £335. Coincidently the average price increase last seaon was about 4% except the family ticket which increased by 11%, a 4% increase would have been around £330.

I don't disagree with what you say, but the question was what was Motherwell's best performance, your last sentence suggests that you actually agree it wasn't the best. If the question had been what was the greatest Motherwell game you had seen then there is no agrument that game is up there.

Doing that you would only really be adding one summer month to the season. We already play early August (earlier if you get into the early Europa Cup rounds) to late May. Early June would be pointless as that's during term time so a high percentage of fans/players wouldn't be able to use the 'summer holiday'.
