  1. No it's not it would be Tax Evasion and fraud which is illegal. Tax avoidance is legal avoidance of tax.
  2. No it's not we could end up with home games against Inverness and St Johnstone in the top six against home games against Hearts and Hibs in the bottom six. So it still depends on some degree of luck of the draw. The only way it is more rewarding is if you get Celtic at home in the top 6.
  3. Friday night in December is madness, one of the biggest nights of the year for office parties.
  4. Why would they need to sell anyone?
  5. I've read this today, if that was part of the proposals no wonder they knocked it back. 11-1 vote is bad enough but 41-1 is mental.
  6. Not quite true, you would be automatically suspended for the next game in that tournament unless it is a straight red for violent conduct, then it is for the next game no matter the tournament.
  7. Personally I think the 93-94 team that finished 3rd was better than both.
  8. Reading Stewart Gilmour's comments yesterday it the proposals not only retained the 11-1 voting but also guaranteed that they couldn't be changed for 3 years.
  9. There is an awful lot of people making predictions for a game which is alleged to have taken place 4 weeks ago!! "Motherwell Vs St.mirren... Match Thread, 06/03/13"
  10. There is still 4 teams that can get the 6th spot, so it's hardly all but confirmed.
  11. Not it's not, the colt clubs will be allowed promotion but not into the league their real team is until they leave Scotland then they can go right up to the top. So it could affect the SPL teams as well. It's a decision for the whole of Scottish football.
  12. In 2010/2011 Inverness in 7th finished on more points than the Kilmarnock in 5th and us in 6th. This season could actually see the team in 10th having more points than the team finishing 6th (or higher). Edit: checking back in 2005/2006 it seems that ICT (again) in 7th had more points than the 4th placed team.
  13. I may be giving Doncaster and the SPL too much credit, but I think the ridiculous league structure may be a deliberate ploy to scupper the other more important issues which are also on the table. When it gets to the vote they will then say they've listened to the fans, that way the SPL and the financial structure stays as is.
  14. You could have saved yourself a lot of typing and just said - "The media should decide which cases should be reviewed" It wasn't clear cut at the first, second or third viewing but Andy Wanker made a big deal out of it and mentioned it every 5 minutes. A couple of Rangers fans the other day were trying to bait me by saying what a thug Randolph was and how there was no way he could be defended, I just said you're right but goalkeepers get away with far too much anyway; to which one of them said it was exactly the same as the challenges Alan McGregor made every game without any punishment.
  15. Not quite, it's a registration ban which finishes the day after the summer transfer window closes. Sevco would then be able to register free agents from that date onwards.
  16. Only subs they made that night were Kevin McBride for Riordan at 6-3 and Benjelloun for Stokes at 6-5.
  17. Donations are not liable for VAT anyway, so the whole debate you started was pointless. There may be other tax liabilities involved but not VAT.
  18. Then everyone cashes in their vouchers and pays £5 to get in, so gets paid £15 to watch the game.
  19. I must be in the minority of one. I hate the large concourse at the front accessing the seats at Livi's ground. I much prefer an access similar to the Cooper or South stand. Why didn't you use Fir Park as the example?
  20. What was the score with Stelrad, I seem to remember them as a sponsor at one point, probably before Scottish Brewers.
  21. I'm sure it's only if they are free agents when the transfer window closes. Bob Malcolm was another who was signed outwith the window.
