It was Odense I ended up with two seats right in the middle of the lower section. Ideal to see Murphy's penalty.

Airdrie Utd, Cowdenbeath, Stenhousemuir

If you listen to Doncater that's the number of professional teams that will be left in two years anyway.

Straight Question(S) To The Board Of Mfc Re. Sfl Proposal
cambo97 replied to Steve Diggle's topic in Club Chat
The rules haven't actually been changed yet but were proposed to ensure the transfer of share to the newco, which would have have only advantaged newco. But you know that; the rule changes were all about helping Sevco gaining immediate membership of the SPL; BUT the oldRangers fans and the media made out it was just to punish them so it had to be shelved. If they had shut up and allowed the changes through this argument would not be happening Sevco would be playing in the SPL next season with a points and financial deduction, -
Straight Question To The Board Of Mfc Re. Rangers Newco
cambo97 replied to Steve Diggle's topic in Club Chat
Don't blame you but as I make out, Green has already agreed a price of £5.3M for the assets including Ibrox, Murray Park and the car park. He seems to think that he will also get the players but that looks doubtful. Like you I would have thought the the liquidators would jump in and halt this, especially as Dumb and Dumber knocked back a bid of £3M for Naismith alone. Don't know how it works but I would have thought that the oldco could still retain the players contracts and could sell them on right up until the company is wound up. -
Straight Question To The Board Of Mfc Re. Rangers Newco

It can happen any time. The Newco will buy the assets then apply for the licence to be transferred prior to the oldco being fully liquidated. -
Straight Question To The Board Of Mfc Re. Rangers Newco
cambo97 replied to Steve Diggle's topic in Club Chat
You are right Ballantyne had formed Airdrie Utd and tried to get them accepted into the SFL, only to loose out to Gretna. Buying out Clydebank was effectively Plan B. The paragraph from Wiki immediately prior to the one quoted -
Straight Question To The Board Of Mfc Re. Rangers Newco

You're not correct, Jim Ballantyne formed a new club called Airdrie Utd (after failing to purchase the name Airdrieonians from the liquidator). Airdrie Utd then applied to join the SFL but failed (Gretna getting the space). Airdrie Utd then purchased Clydebank and then relocated to Airdrie with the name change to Airdrie Utd. -
Straight Question To The Board Of Mfc Re. Rangers Newco
cambo97 replied to Steve Diggle's topic in Club Chat
The thing is the circumstances mentioned the first two WOULD happen if the Newco was not allowed into the SPL, they don't need to be conditions. It would then follow that the other ones could follow on if the other clubs wanted them. So to answer your question - No -
Brilliant 3% would boycott the Newco fixtures but would continue going to their games.

Jennings got a two match ban for something the ref did see and deemed to only be a yellow card.

Wouldn't put it past Lunny to award them a goal after reviewing the Sportscene highlights

Definitely home to Dundee but I've checked a couple of sites and they have the score as 0-0 but like you I'm certain we went into the game 2 points behind them with a very remote chance of winning the league.
-
Yes, we were cruising in that game too, I think we were 3-1 up at half time, for a good while it looked like we were going to pull back a fair bit of the goal difference, then Stevie Crawford and Colin Cameron happened.
-
It was only four points, went into last game two point behind but around 15 worse of in goal difference. We needed to beat St J by a barrel load and hope Rangers lost to Dundee at home be a bis scoreline. St Johnstone weren't actually relegated at the time they needed a win to give them a chance, they were celebrating at the end thinking they had done enough.
-
but they would have one they could get signed personally. It doesn't affect me any more, at the time I thought it was a shame he didn't get to meet the players. It's probably one of these things that is down to personal preference.
-
Was this not because the rules required that the shorts (and socks) also had to be diferent colours to aviod a colour clash?
-
Might be a daft idea but have you ever considered having the signing after Christmas that way the kids who get the calendar from Santa could also get to meet the players. For the first couple of years this was done, it was a choice between letting my son meet the players or giving him a surprise for Christmas. I imagine if he could have had both it would have been much more exciting for him.

The problem is if you use the second last section for standing, the third last section won't be able to see a good percentage of the park so would then have to stand up to see. The only way it would work is the last section on its own or the whole of the east stand although I don't see either being workable. The end section isn't big enough and I doubt the club would want to convert the whole stand. Edit: Another option would be to convert the back few rows of the stand to safe standing which would probably work although may split the 'singing' although spreading that all along the stand may also work

Why, they took it off me last night. Unless I'm mistaken there is only one voucher 9 in the book. I didn't even understand the tannoy message that the game had been abandoned. It was only when I checked my watch and people were leaving I realised.
-
I couldn't hear the announcement, I just assumed that they would use another voucher for season ticket holders so just left.

This is even better. You provided evidence that Aberdeen had a rule and an opinion from a guy who has previous for not always being correct. You then made a childish pedantic reply asking someone to provide a rule showing you are allow to stand. Blatantly ignoring the request to show the actual SPL rule.
-
That's a stupid argument, I doubt there's a rule that says you are allowed to attend football matches but that doesn't mean you can't. I guess you couldn't find the rule!! Mr Doncaster says Scottish Football will die unless we go to a 10 team SPL, so I take it you believe that too!!! Or more likely you only believe what he says if you agree with him!!
-
So it's clearly in the AFC rules but Mr Doncaster never instilled any confidence in his ability to know what he's talking about, so forgive me for not taking him at his word that it is in the rules. So far this discussion has been: It's illegal to stand - well OK it's not illegal but it's against the Taylor Report - OK the Taylor report is not in place in Scotland - Well it's still against the rules (maybe!!)
-
Every time this comes up I ask what rule and never get an answer!! As far as I can make out clubs are only required to provide all seated stadium not that people need to sit in the seats. Although SPL rule H7.5 states "The Home Club in any Official Match must ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, (i) good order and security;", heavy handed stewarding would actually break this rule, so telling your stewards not to wade in is actually following the rules!!
