  1. Why, they took it off me last night. Unless I'm mistaken there is only one voucher 9 in the book. I didn't even understand the tannoy message that the game had been abandoned. It was only when I checked my watch and people were leaving I realised.
  2. I couldn't hear the announcement, I just assumed that they would use another voucher for season ticket holders so just left.
  3. This is even better. You provided evidence that Aberdeen had a rule and an opinion from a guy who has previous for not always being correct. You then made a childish pedantic reply asking someone to provide a rule showing you are allow to stand. Blatantly ignoring the request to show the actual SPL rule.
  4. That's a stupid argument, I doubt there's a rule that says you are allowed to attend football matches but that doesn't mean you can't. I guess you couldn't find the rule!! Mr Doncaster says Scottish Football will die unless we go to a 10 team SPL, so I take it you believe that too!!! Or more likely you only believe what he says if you agree with him!!
  5. So it's clearly in the AFC rules but Mr Doncaster never instilled any confidence in his ability to know what he's talking about, so forgive me for not taking him at his word that it is in the rules. So far this discussion has been: It's illegal to stand - well OK it's not illegal but it's against the Taylor Report - OK the Taylor report is not in place in Scotland - Well it's still against the rules (maybe!!)
  6. Every time this comes up I ask what rule and never get an answer!! As far as I can make out clubs are only required to provide all seated stadium not that people need to sit in the seats. Although SPL rule H7.5 states "The Home Club in any Official Match must ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, (i) good order and security;", heavy handed stewarding would actually break this rule, so telling your stewards not to wade in is actually following the rules!!
  7. As far I can find: Name P W D L F A Gd Pts Rangers 14 12 1 1 34 15 19 37 Celtic 15 11 2 2 35 12 23 35 Hearts 14 8 2 4 22 13 9 26 Inverness CT 15 7 4 4 26 18 8 25 Motherwell 14 7 2 5 22 16 6 23 Kilmarnock 15 6 2 7 24 18 6 20 Dundee Utd 14 5 4 5 15 20 -5 19 Hibernian 15 4 3 8 17 25 -8 15 St Johnstone 15 4 3 8 10 22 -12 15 St Mirren 15 3 4 8 14 26 -12 13 Aberdeen 15 3 1 11 15 31 -16 10 Hamilton 15 2 4 9 11 29 -18 10
  8. Nobody has mentioned Tommy Coyne or Dougie Arnott either, but then they weren't left backs either.
  9. It's you that's bevied. Neil Doncaster is chief executive of the SPL. Stewart Regan is at the SFA. Reading the article the SPL looked for volunteers to trial the Friday night and MFC agreed.
  10. That shows 2 CL places both in at Q3
  11. But the majority of away fans said the opposite!!! As for the comment on Saturday at 3.00pm games, yes around half of games are played then. Has it ever occurred to you that the crowds started to decrease at the same time the started messing around with the schedule. Far to late about the damned if they do comment they already have!!
  12. Don't think this is the TV companies this time. Quote from SPL Chief Executive Neil Doncaster: "There is no ‘silver bullet’ single solution to the various issues confronting the game in Scotland. And there is no monopoly on good ideas." Maybe not but the SPL seem to have a monopoly on bad ideas.
  13. Sounds shite. Maybe not for a couple of Motherwell supporters though. Maybe they should trial Saturday at 3.00pm!!
  14. It was the first year of the 3 points for a win. Would have thought the previous season was better.
  15. Is it though, I was always under the impression that in Scotland the SPL voluntarily intruded all seated stadia and it has never been enshrined in Scots Law. Also I can't find any regulation that you must sit at the game only that numbered seats have to be provided.
  16. You're not being pedantic you're being irrelevant. The Scottish Premier League was a Scottish Football League competition the SPL is not. The 'Premier League' was no different from the Scottish First Division.
  17. His agent used to work in Hamilton Road, so I'm not surprised at that.
  18. Yes there was, they were deprived of it from the time it was appropriated to the time it was returned. It was taken off the wall so there was obviously intent.
  19. In England maybe! The current definition of theft can be stated as: The taking or appropriation of the goods or property of another without the consent of the owner and with the intent to deprive them of that property.
  20. Only at £200 now so you must have been sussed.
  21. Chris McCart, Jamie Murphy, Zoom, No. Easy
  22. Well if that's MFC's stance my decision made up for next year. No renewal of season ticket for me.

    A Quiz

No way has that happened as often as that.
  24. A version of Hey Jude used to be used regularly.
  25. I was thinking about the final in 2005 and I seem to remember there was no public sale only season ticket holders were allowed to purchase the tickets. Something due to the public sale being advertised on a R***ers fans site. I think 'flow(?) then made arrangements with members of the board to get legitimate fans tickets.
