Linesman "correct" - Sfa Release Photo Evidence.
Motherwell Football Club replied to stuwell's topic in Club Chat
Wrong, he wasnt involved in play. -
The man speaks truths. In recent games he's cleaned up most of his own errors, Saturday being prime example. People seem to forget that Buzz made many a world class save in his time. I think people get the wrong impression because Ruddy comes out to take the ball more than any 'keeper we've had in recent times.

Game was there for the taking but the subs killed it. Bring Humphrey on and the only guy who can play a decent ball to him is right up his arse. If we'd taken Coke on and replaced him with Forbes/Saunders and re-arranged the team to suit I reckon we'd have had it in the bag. Sutton had a shocking miss but played well again today. Jennings was brilliant although often wasted posession. McGlinchey looks a pretty neat player but definately needs a go on the wing. Today was the epitome of what John Ruddy is. Brilliant goalkeeping interjected with hesitant decision making. As much as he kept us in it, I was also certain he'd cost us the game when sleeping at a tame low cross. MOTM was Ruddy though, just for 'that' save. -

So suddenly he is a freekick god? I see how one freekick can make that expectation arise. -
Im sure the club don't want to risk him till he is totally 100%. Threw him in at the deep end after his injury the last time and he done himself in again. No point in doing it twice.
-
He's been playing in bounce games. Looking to prove his fitness. Last I heard anyway. Plenty of time to sign him up.
-
If Forbes 'came from nowhere' then surely he couldn't have been offside. Linesmans fault for being inept and wrongly positioned. Oh, and being a h*n.
-
You are right, but being a fan and a supporter are two different things. Slagging off your team and using scapegoats because 'your' team has drawn a game is pathetic. Fraser gets stick when in the games he's played for us he hasn't put a foot/hand wrong. Craigan gets stick because of his erratic performances and his preferance to clear the ball 9/10 with a form of scissor kick. Fitzpatrick gets stick because he's not the world beater that one goal he scored in the past may suggest. Yassin got stick because he wasnt a traditional right back. Forbes gets stick, because he's apparently unfit, from world class athletes of course. Hutchinson is 'injury prone' and now Reynolds is shite because he didn't make a clearance. It wouldn't surprise me if some folk on here are going to vote Conservative in the election just so that they can moan when/if they are in power. Anyway, if more folk 'supported' the team that would be great. Never seen Messi play brilliantly. Maybe he's overrated?

Just read that on the bbc. Best of luck to him, should score a good few in a month.
-
haha, Love your great reading skills. One mistake led to a goal. The other, moments after it, was recovered by Reynolds which led to a move where JO'B passed the ball into McGregors hands. Im gutted we lost, but i've moved on. No point in coming on here slagging our players off. I support them, unlike a good number on here. Thought that was the point in being a fan and not a critic. I don't buy that he never got a shout, He is clearly preparing chest/volley it away before turning swifty to let the ball glide past him. No way he did that without getting a shout from Ruddy/Boyd/Hammell. Anyway, why wouldn't a keeper come to collect the ball a few yards from goal? I mean Ruddy dominates from the goal line to the penalty spot, no? Neil said it... O'rly?
-
Was my MOTM. Lurvley.
-
Good one. Reynolds and Ruddy fucked up. Then the next thing Reynolds did was mis judge a clearance which allowed Miller to retain possession. Other than that he had as good a game as anyone. Between this and Neil's claims that Forbes cost us 3 points I've nearly laughed myself into a coma.
-
If he hadn't made sure it went in and it had taken a bad bounce from a divot in the ground then It would have been his fault again. Clearly.
-
Almost as ridiculous as blaming any of our players for being at fault for the decision.
-
Never heard that rule. Anyway, I know its been a fuck up, but this is the likely excuse that will be used.
-
Well, since Forbes was at one end of the six yard box and Craigan at the other, I don't know why the freekick was in between the two. Just round about where The Juke had a tug.
-
Was it not a foul that was given? The Juke pulling a Rangers player. Well, thats where the freekick was taken from....
-
John Sutton, Never played a stray pass all night. Lovely touches in the middle of the park and great defending too. Did well against a big defence and troubled McGregor on a few occasions.
-
I love that nobody, 'til just then, has blamed Ruddy for making the shout then doing fuck all about it. Fantastic performance by us. O'Brien, Hateley and the two strikers were brilliant. Bar the goal Ruddy was just taking the piss at times, fun to watch though. I wonder if O'Brien had squared the ball to Sutton, instead of passing to McGregor, that would have been offside too EDIT: Fuck sake Ya Bezzer

Played really well tonight. Gave the ball away three times when taking too long to choose a pass. Was the logical substitution but I don't think he looked out of breath at all.
-
Its funny how amateur and junior teams manage to play good football on shite pitches rather consistantly and professionals become shite as soon as theres a lump out the grass.
-
Depends how Bougherra plays.

Imagine using the adidas logo. Shame on you.

I've never heard a Claret and Amber recorded version.

All you have to remember is, the guy had Scott Brown chasing his own tail at Parkhead earlier this season.
