Looking forward to watch the Well and welcoming McGhee back to Fir Park I'm not looking forward to the green and white arseholes being abusive and the police and stewards ignoring but sadly that Scottish Football for you as for the result it's a game against the old firm so it doesn't count (unless we win )
-
I was thinking the same My first games was in 1994 an we lost 2-0 against Dundee and it will always be a special game for me other games that sticks out stopping 9 in row, helicopter Sunday, 6-6, Heart semi at Easter Road I would also added the CIS and Scottish Cup finals okay we lost both but watching the Well in a cup final is a special thing
-
not bothered about the result as games against to old scum don't count (less we take points of them) I also hate the hassel that comes with the visiting old scum fans but at least I get to the watch the well and may see the new manager so it's won't be all that bad
-
not heard anything to say the game isn't on anyway I don't think it's going to a game of great football but just as long as we get some points I'll be happy
-
I thought Grimshaw did a very good job today and did his job very well as for Kennedy, I noted that he stopped try to play log balls in the second half (half time team talk worked wonders) good to see McDonald score and play up front overall this wasn't a great game of football and there is a lot of work to do but 3 points is 3 points
-
I went for Grimshaw (and I bet that's the only vote he will get) at last a right back who does his job without any fuss as for the rest them blew hot and cold all game
-
I missed the last few game due being on holiday so I just glad to get back to Fir Park to watch the Well as for the game I just hope the Well players show up on the park as a few of them need to get their fingers out fingers crossed for 3 points
-
any descent Scottish manager that Motherwell can afford is in a job It will either be a first time manager or someone from England or Europe I'd like to see Paul Lambert in the job but that's just sentimentally I don't want the Well to go back to a old manager however I will be interested to see how Craigan gets on
-
After last nights result I'm not surprised Baraclough left for me he did stop the rot and did his best and there were signs of improvement but not enough and at the end of the day we were stuck at the same level as Rangers and the team is a lot better than that onwards and upwards
-
I'm not sure about the signing of Samson but I think he'll be on the bench until the new year he is a safe pair of hands (boom boom) and knows the Scottish game so it kind of makes sense In my view he is no better than the current 2 keepers on the book and not a patch on some of our past keepers but I guess the well choices are limited by their budget onwards and upwards
-
just watch the highlights and the build up the goal was full of great thoughtful passing and the final cross and finish was excellent
-
for me last season we were on a decline this season I think we are on a incline but I am under no illusion this season is going to be easy we are in for a long hard season but I can see the team gelling and results improving onwards and upwards
-
last season Ross County took all 3 points with a last minute goal this season we battle back and steal a point from an on form Ross County I call that an improvement As for die hard fans who stop attending games, I don't call them die hard fans When Baraclough took over his job was to keep us up and he did that. Baraclough next job was had to rebuild the team and that takes time, We also started this season with games against top SPFL sides and although we lost the games we didn't get played off the park and at time push the opposition which was a lot more than we did last year I see signs of improvement but with so many new players it will always take time for players to settle and get use to the team and Scottish football
-
all I can say is that feck we got through onwards and upwards
-
going to be a tight game and Hearts have a lot of positve momentum if the Well pass well and keep the presure on Hearts we should take at least a point from the game if we end up just punting the ball from the back you can forget it 1-0 to the well onwards and upwards
-
Lasley for me, great to see his get better each season Ripley did make some great save but his kick outs let him down once too often
-
I thought the game would either be a draw oura fluke goal would steal the points for one of the teams sadly United managed to break the deadlock with a well worked counter attack and the Well pressed the self distruct button at the end. Uniteds back 4 were played very well and I can't see them losing many goals this season as for the Well they played a lot better than last year and the new player use full but still not up to the pace of Scottish football but I hope that will come. There was some good passing play but some players still need to work on this. The back 4 looked a lot better than last year which should be something the team can build on. I was disappointed at the end of the game and you see the effort the players had put in but they ended up losing. For me the first 4 games of this season are against some the toughest teams in the SPFL and I just hope the players remember this and keep working hard. Onwards and upwards

I'm looking forward to going back to Firpark and watching the Well for the first time this season as for the game I simply hope we play better that we did last year (and that won't be hard)
-
the club needs to put together a good cup run and we can't go into the game against east fife thinking it going to be a walk over as they will be up for it this will be good test for the team and hopefully they will progress to the next round and it will be at home!
-
stick me down for another £10, I'm feeling luck
-
don't care about the other team is the league and my money is on top six finish for the well and either 3rd or 4th but what I really want is good runs in the cups
-
Good start to the season and the main thing is the 3 points from what I heard on the radio we played well and the team seemed link up well onwards and upwards
-
agreed we must do better in the cups as for the league a lot of the dead wood has been cleaned out of the squad and so far the new singings look good if they gel as a team then I hopeful of a top 6 finish, if they don't we'll struggle through an other season
