here here, Rome was built in a day and the firpark pitch has a few years to mature Well done to the ground staff for all their hard work, I know you'll have the last laugh

I know of 2 people (1 from each side) who did not go to the game today as it was free on TV, okay it's only 2 but I felt we were around 1000 people down on what I would have expected for that game. I just hope we got an extra top up from ESPN because they put the game on from free.

Pitch looked very poor today (and dry) however this is to be expected with the age of the pitch and also the very cold weather and snow we have just gone through. Unlike the old scum we can not afford to use massive grow lamps on the pitch and keep the grass growing 365 days a year. Once the weather improves and we getting a bit more sunlight on the pitch it will very quickly green up. Mind you it's still an easy target for the media to take a pop at us because of the state of the pitch.

took them long enough there was no way this game was going to go ahead, I know the earliest the game could be called off was today but a bit of common sense for time to time. What a minute we're talking about football, I forgot we don't do common sense and that's why the game is now set for a Tuesday night!
