I have no doubts about the pitch the real problem might be getting to and from the ground. I heard that last weeks game at Hamilton was called off by the police as they did not want people stranded at the ground by the snow. Mind you a night a Fir Park could be fun

I'm working that day but I hope to be at Fir Park wave everyone off, just wish I knew about it a few weeks ago then I could have taken part.

I'll be at the game for free as I'll taking a family there through my work. It's a tough job but someone's got to do it. The real problem will be trying not to go mental when we score as I'll be in the h**s end.

I also have to point out the fact the point of Jim Gannon statement has been conveniently avoided by the SFA and the media instead they started a slagging match. Everyone know the standard of refereeing is poor to average and many games are spoiled by poor decision making, I think the real problem is the lack of people wanting to be a referee so we're stuck with a very limited pool of people to pick from.

Having listen to the interview all that Gannon say is that the if the ref are treating the club negatively during games due to his comments about standards of refereeing then he would consider his place at Motherwell, which I take to mean he does not want to bring ill fortune to the club and would leave if it was casing the club damage. He also said that his hands are tied by what he can and can't say (basically it's a stitch up by the SFA) but he's not going to let it lie. Like he says football is a beautiful game but an ugly industry

Nice idea but some of my colleagues took some of the kids we work with to an European game at ibrox they sat next to the squadies who go free tickets and they were shocked to hear then start pro UVF chants. I was not surprised to hear the stewards/police/tv/papers/radio missed it. Just hope we don't get the same at Firpark.

he hope recovers soon, I been impressed by him and the other youngsters in the back four (all four of them at time) looks like all the money I's spent on 50 50 tickets has been going to some use.
