I know they put ALOT of effort the other night but it didnt excuse such a poor performance. I thought things should have been freshened up. As MFC has posted, Blackman and Casagolda shouldve started the match. But we dont have enough squad depth to do anything else. Hopefully someone can come in the next couple of days.

I fear a hiding on Sunday also but any sort of positive result will do. We put alot of energy into last night where Celtic probably didnt. That could tell on Sunday but if we start with a good strong tempo then it could be a good day for us. I think we should rest Lasley and Sutton for the game. Very happy with Odense's draw. If they get over 4 points I'll be very surprised. Hope they get fucked right over. Wouldve been happy with Gents group, we wouldve struggled against Sporting and Lille but I wouldve fancied us at least at home against Sofia.

Dortmund and Nancy were way better sides than Odense when weve faced them. Still tearing my hair out with the game. The penalty, Blackmans misses, the one fuckin chance they had. I hope they get fucked right over in the group stages, had alot of respect for Nancy and Steaua due to their lack of play acting and such. Still look for their results. I think you made some good points MJC but firstly the one about us finishing in the bottom four is ridiculous. For the size of squad we have we have plenty of quality in it. We went to Kilmarnock without our preferred forward pairing and without arguably our best defender and midfielder and won. Not alot of teams will do that this season against any team. Then I do agree with the majority of what you say about Rangers and Celtic but I feel that Celtic have added too much faces and may have over-compensated just to appease their fans. I think the three signings Rangers have made are cracking and I think that edges them ahead of Celtic in the title race. And I dont think for a second Aberdeen will be anywhere near third this season, just dont think they have alot of quality in their side, I'd fancy us to take a fair share of the points against them this season.

I agree with the full comment there, was it just me or did Djemba Djemba dodge a yellow card tonight. Referee was abysmal. I think Jennings only conceded 3 fouls tonight and was booked for 2 whereas their players were getting let away with murder. Also wish we could just try a few digs every once in a while, I know Humphrey had a couple but were duly shite due to his lack of a left foot, he played well so thats the only thing to moan about But I could not believe my eyes when that free kick went in at the end. What a strike. From virtually being out of the tie to being right back in it is really something. Cmon Motherwell, become legends next week. CMON THE WELL!!!!!!!
