To be honest Fitzpatrick hasn't played any decent part this season. At least McGarry had a good game in Wales. But I suppose that won't count because it was against a purely amateurish Llanelli team. I think Fitzpatrick would bring alot to a team like Hamilton or St. Mirren, teams that need that bit more grit then teams who try to play football.

I see Goian actually signed for Palermo yesterday, thats why he didn't play. Thats a big blow to their squad.

I was in the main stand at the far end. I never really seen the incident with the handball but FFS that is one of the most stonewall penalties I've ever seen, he never hesitated much when their man takes a tumble in the box right enough If we make it 2-0 before half time it would've been game on. It was great to see us dominate so much of that game but we really should've took more of our chances. Proud of the lads on their performance

I think the way we played for the first hour will scare alot of teams in the league. We were fantastic. Except the taking of chances we created though. I thought we at least deserved a draw but more so deserved the win. Steaua will give anybody a game at their own ground but if they play a higher calibre of side then they will be punished away from home. But I'm not going to complain, 6 games in Europe for pre season, I'd take that every year! Thanks for the adventure!!!

A few players played great tonight but I picked Sutton. Won everything, gave their defenders a torrid time. Big shout for Coke and Forbes right enough. Great effort.

I heard that the other day off a mate. He was talking to someone close to the club. He told me who it was but I really don't want to cause any negativity. We've got a big game coming up and we should be rallying the team to come out and make a game of this. But at the end of the day aslong as Motherwells playing good football and winning games thats all that matters.

Its how many Motherwell fans travelled to Albania to watch us play Flamurtari and travelled to Romania to face Steaua.

Hes scored 4 goals already this season, albeit against lesser sides but hes still had to put the ball in the net. No chance he'll be goin to Hamilton. They get all that money for McCarthy then make a joke of themselves by making derisory offers for Arfield and Murphy.

I think we'll finish in the top 6, anywhere will do nicely. 1 semi and 1 qtr final in the cups. And would love to get to the group stages but even if we beat Steaua, we will no doubt be faced with an even bigger side in the following round. Heart says group stages, head says glorious failure against Steaua.

We need to shut some mouths in this tie. If we get a half decent result over there I think we have a fantastic chance at home.
