Ok, so, so far, the three centre backs (I know the 3rd isnt playing today) all look like really good signings, to me, so does the keeper. Defence looks quite sorted to me. Priestman and Faddy we know are good. Think we're short a good attacking midfielder, but that may be Lowry. I think we're in a decent place right now. getting players back will only strengthen.

Refereeing standards have certainly not improved over the summer.

I should point out it hasn't been right yet. Predicted a 1-1 draw against HB away and a 2-1 loss to Hibs. Like with the forum MJC, I prefer to see predicted defeats 🙂

To me, the issue we had today was connected to the loss of Just and Slattery. The back four plus Oscar and Faddy had the ball a lot. We were very good at getting the ball forward from there. Today we weren't lot of the time which led to the continual turning back into a tighter and tighter area. We need more (and more intelligent) movement from the forward midfielders to play through the way we did before. Still a fantastic result and absolutely worth the period of worry for that second goal 🤣

That second goal was just sublime football.....

We need to change our shape here. Get Vogt off for Lowry and RCC for Maswanhise.

We're struggling more to bring that ball out passed Fadinger and Priestman. Said and Cookie just not got the movement that Just had. Vogt seems to have the beating of the back but he's not getting involved enough.
