I'm going all MJC today and predict a 2-1 defeat with one dodgy penalty for them and a controversial booking for one of their players in the first half which should have been a straight red.
My old man always used to tell me (back in the 70's) that you had to beat them 3-0 to get a draw. Ironically, we beat them a lot more often back then.
Having made that depressing prediction, I'd sell my granny for a win today 😄
100% agree. To be honest, at this stage in the 'project' i'd have expected us to suffer a few heavy defeats as the players bedded in. The fact that we've progressed so far in the time available, I think is nothing short or remarkable. I'm positive that the manager can see where the issues lie and how to address them much better tha anyone on here can. I can't really imagine him not having something in mind for the transfer window that will suit the way we play.
I was on the Tarbert/Portavadie ferry first thing (of all places) this morning and the bloke in front of me buying a ticket had a 'Well hat on. Got chatting and he was on his way from Campbeltown for his daughter to be today's mascot. Told the kid she was going to be a mascot at an easy win 🙂 At least I didn't technically lie to the kid 🙂
In my head when I came up with the 17 points thing, we were beating Falkirk and drawing this one, however, it's on grass, they're shite and we're 2008 Spain.
Nothing can go wrong......
Just my take, but in the first half, when we had the ball at the back, Livi left more midfielders in forward positions to cut down the space that Watt and Fadniger usually have to play in to bring the ball out. took us until probably Priestman coming on to deal with it.
