Looks like the wheels have come off a bit for St Mirren as well and Dundee Utd looked dross when we played them recently. Looking at us, if we can play through the supposed 'best team in the league' for 70 mins, we're definitely moving the right way !!

No sure whether anyone else thinks the same, but something I said to my son while watching the game was that in the first half, we created a lot more clear cut chances and we didn't have a 'target striker' on the park. Maybe the way we play is better suited to having 'wee fast guys' in the box, like Maswanhise, Just and Charlie Cook rather than a lumbering target man.

It's pretty much impossible to pick tonight. Went for Priestman in the end cause he surprised me more than anything, but there were no failures tonight. Just was up there as well, in fact, everyone did their job really well.

Does anyone remember the 25th of Oct, half time, when we were 1-0 down to livi ?? There was relegation chat and 'does the manager have a clue' chat. Things have changed a bit 😉 Given the wholesale changes about everything we do, i'd have been happy with a consolidation season to develop the new style and let the players get used to it, weed out the ones who weren't going to cut it and maybe get a couple in, with a view to being a well developed side next season. To be fair, I think it's coming together really well, and the football tonight was just brilliant at times. We've shown periods of what we can do, but tonight we were great. Don't forget we were already playing well before the pen and the sending off. Everyone was proper 'on it' tonight and the players who came in were clearly up for giving the manager a selection headache.

According the the BBC, the note handed to Slattery and Watt was to tell Said to rap it. Hopefully true 😂

The football was good tonight. Was never a struggle against the ten men. Would like to have seen us be a bit more ruthless in the 2nd have, but you canny have everything 😂 Brilliant performance and result in a game I was hoping for a draw in 🙂

I'll be the first to admit, I thought Priestman looked shite in his first couple of cameos, but looked decent when he came on a couple of games ago and has been excellent tonight. Biggest compliment you can give is that so far, the midfield hasn't missed Fadinger and Slatts so far. I was worried about tonight cause Hibs have been a decent side so far this season, but we've been unreal. Like watching Spain from 2008
