I know it's not the done thing, but can someone who uses a firestick stream to watch our games PM me please ?

Two up top......kinda
-
75-76 was my first season ticket season (I was 11). Early in the season, we played the H*ns at Fir park and beat them 3-1. My season ticket was in the old centre stand and the unsold season ticket seats were occupied by away fans who, when we went 2-1 up started threatening old 'well fans around me, with a couple of old codgers getting punched etc. There were a couple of polis in the stand who did fuck all despite being asked multiple times. That and the semi final instilled in me a deep deep rooted hatred of rangers that has never gone away. Obviously, as a 'well fan, I'm completely anti 'any other team' but my dislike and hatred of Rangers runs a lot deeper. Hope we pump them rotten.

Great Summary. In my footballing lifetime, which started with the Stuart Rennie 'steps incident' against airdrie, we've only ever lost in semis to either Celtic or Rangers (both League Cup and Scottish Cup) and have beaten them both once each in semis. (If my memory is accurate).

Was actually great to watch a game with no VAR where you can actually celebrate a goal !!

Thought Kaleta looked brilliant when he came on.......good attacking option down the right.

Exactly. I'm sure we also had people shouting for Duncan Ferguson (cause 'he wouldn't stand for any nonsense') and other dumb suggestions. Outside of three or maybe four clubs, it's a pretty difficult and thankless job thats almost always going to end in sacking. Luckily, Motherwell have three or four top class football brains on this forum that could take over if the manager was to get fired.
-
What ? Does he post a constant stream of shite and disappear when we win as well ?
-
*Cough* my Motherwell one hasn't worked for a few weeks now and the Aberdeen one is unwatchable for me right now.

Unchanged starting line up again......
-
And had a nice rounded end 🙂
-
read what you wrote........we had NO shots on target until the 91st minute. Away into yer miserable wee cupboard and pray for the next defeat.
-
Funny that. Other sources say we had six shots on target. Get back in yer box till we lose again.
-
Unchanged starting eleven.

I've got a mate that's a big time Jambo (i know, but don't judge me !) and he says they don't see where Spittal fits in and hasn't done anything so far to make you look up from your bovril.

Yes, it's statistacally a safe conclusion that every other year of his career is an anomoly and the best stats to quantify his career is his last season with us.
-
When you look back to when Kettlewell took over, we had a back three of McGinn, Butcher & Casey and in that period we didn't really ship a lot of goals and kept clean sheets. The injury to Butcher kyboshed that and when he came back, he wasn't the same player. Last season the defence was generally shambolic and prone to regular change. Having someone strong and dominant in the middle again (i.e. not Bevis) will hopefully tighten things up a bit and stop us losing the silly goals like we did last season. Imagine where we could have been last season if all these comeback draws had been wins cause we hadn't shipped silly weak goals. I'm hoping the addition of Liam Gordon will take us back to where we were the season before last, denfensively speaking.

100% agree but I kinda get the feeling, that given his background, he'll be kinda Beireth-like in his financial expectations, given that he was at LC for years, got a debut with them (albeit not in the EPL) but he was with them through their glory/money years, he'll really be in a financial bracket that we can't even consider. Having said that, maybe a wee sustained period of regular first team football and the press and exposure that goes with it might suit him at this point in his career. You can be 100% sure he'll be linked with big money move to Celtic or Rangers the week before we play them.
-
Probably yes, because we were 'pretty poor from open play' apparently. At least he posted his grudging admission that we won, where as the other three posters of the apocalypse are clearly marked absent, as they always are when we win.

I'm sure celtic will be 'on the brink of signing ex Rodgers starlet' the week before we play them.
