Don't really think it's something that can be measured really. In my supporting lifetime we've gone from Goldthorpe, through Pettigrew and right on to KVV with everything in between. Joe Wark would be up there but so would loads of others. I think (maybe by rose tinted recollection) that the best 'footballer' I remember us having was Vic Davidson, but I could sit all day writing down names of people who could potentially be our 'GOAT'. Unmeasurable really in my opinion.

Didn't want to say because he seems to have a lot of support on here, but bar from the couple of goals he's bagged, I see nothing in his general play (bar from a good game against Aberdeen early in SH's tenure) that suggests he's that great. Actively runs away from play a lot and does very little with the ball. Energetic maybe, but also ineffective.

I'm normally 100% wrong in every prediction or bold claim that I make, however, I'm boldly predicting that Hammy has lost his fucking mind. I said when he was appointed that I hate to see 'club legends' appointed as managers, because one of two things happen. You either end up with fans shouting for their head, or if they're mega successful, they go somewhere bigger, prompting the 'he claimed to be a Motherwell man through and through, lying bastard....' type stuff. The former outcome is much more likely.

FT - On the plus side, we got a draw and Moult got 90 mins. On the minus side, we were generally poor and looked the poorer time for periods.

This is not new. A lot of people have been moaning about KVV 'not trying' but our service in to the box is awful.

Probably......KVV is a centre forward though and we've rarely played him as such. He's spent most of his time with us as a lone central striker having to come back the way to collect the ball, usually around halfway or that area of the opposition half. We looked better on Sat with Mould up front along with him and them playing closer together and a forward moving midfield, so the two strikers can look for the ball in the box where they should be.

I thought we actually did ok tonight. They're clearly a level above us when it comes to ball control and speed of movement and thought. I thought we looked like a better team with the really high press early on, only thing is, that's hard as fuck to sustain for 90 mins cause it's knackering. Having said that, the goals we lost were preventable, but the second in particular is the kind of things that happens when you push up chasing an equaliser.
