The football was good tonight. Was never a struggle against the ten men. Would like to have seen us be a bit more ruthless in the 2nd have, but you canny have everything 😂 Brilliant performance and result in a game I was hoping for a draw in 🙂

I'll be the first to admit, I thought Priestman looked shite in his first couple of cameos, but looked decent when he came on a couple of games ago and has been excellent tonight. Biggest compliment you can give is that so far, the midfield hasn't missed Fadinger and Slatts so far. I was worried about tonight cause Hibs have been a decent side so far this season, but we've been unreal. Like watching Spain from 2008

I thought both Said and Priestmen looked decent when they came on today. That's actually the first time I've seen Priestman where he didn't look like a little lost boy out of his depth. Looked for the ball and tried to carry it forward.

It's a game we should have taken more from, given our first half dominance, but when you go behind, clawing it back is a shite site better than a meek 1-0 defeat. I don't get why we're so shot and cross shy when we actually get into good positions around heir box. Looks like no one wants to be the one to take the chance on the risky ball or take the responsibility for having a pop.

That was a ridiculous bit of refereeing there. Shat out of giving the foul aganst the left back there, cause he warned him a couple of mins ago. If that foul had been given, he'd have had to send him off.

Just back in from the game (finished too late to get ferry home) and I get rewarded with a night in a Prem Inn in Greenock......the good news just never stops today.... Starting Said instead of Slattery was criminal and to a slightly lesser extent, but still a mistake, not starting Welsh. Too much footering when a shot or a proper cross was required. Just had a golden opportunity to score and tried to tippy tap a pass instead. Said was just pish and so was Longelo. Just all round bad day at the office. St Mirren certainly negated us by not pressing too high, knowing we can't create around a crowded box. Thoroughly pissed off this evening !

I think i'm correct in saying, we haven't lost a semi to a non OF team since Airdrie. Is that right ? One bad omen is that I've never seen my team (ok Scotland, not Motherwell) win from that end of Hampden. Excited for the semi obviously, but shitting it too. Got a wedding in Blantyre thursday, a gig in Tarbert Friday and the semi on Sat. Three whole days off the rock for me !

Only my opinion but I think JBA prefers McGinn as he's got more 'fitba' about him than Gordon. Same reason he played Ward instead of Ox. I thought the Welsh sub tonight was weird. Did I miss him getting a knock ? Agree Maswanhise should have been off earlier. Surprised he came back out for 2nd half TBH.
