Fact is, Robinson has bought a bunch of players during the close season, not one of who can get a sniff at a game in a team that's playing utter shite, except Donnelly, who's only there cause Dunne is injured. Against hearts in the cup (after 20 mins) and Killie (after 20 mins) we turned into a team who just blooters the ball whatever way they're facing. The manager has to take responsibility for that.

Key change for me, if we're playing 5-3-2 or 3-5-2 or whatever the fuck it is, would be to put ATS in on the left to start. Can he really be worse at defending than Frear ?? And allow Tait into his natural position and Cadden to face forwards. For a team that has a history of having some of the top left backs in the league (Wark, Boyd, McKinnon, McMillan etc) we've been without one for a hell of a long time.

Yes, it works when you've got a Rab McKinnon and a Rab Shannon. When you try to replace Rab McKinnon with Elliot Frear, it doesn't. Signing an attacking left back has been a priority for a couple of years now.
