Woke up in the middle of the night celebrating a last minute winner from Casagolda !!
Wasn't really up for this and didn't even realise I'd been thinking about it.
This could be it. Casagolda day !!
Terry Butcher was never sought out to be our manager. He was assistant to Eric Black, who left when we entered adminstration. He took the job at that point. Don't get the comparison.
Luc Nijholt has never managed Motherwell FC. FFS
Because having contributed financially to the club for 35 fucking years gives me the right to criticise. Two or three years ago we were signing guys like Hughes and Porter. Have we really fallen this far down the shiter in three years ?
At a point in the club's history where we are struggling for fans through the gates, do you think appointing an inexperienced manager along with an assistant who's greatest footballing achievement is to get his team relegated is going to pack the fucking punters in ?
I'm not against it because of any dislike of Kenny Black. What I am against is the fact that we've got an inexperienced manager with no track record of success. I had hoped the assistant might have backed him up with a bit of tangible experience or a miniscule amount of previous success at something.
I'll happily eat my own bollocks in the centre circle of Fir Park if the 'fouling h*n twins' turn out to be a succesful management duo. I won't be reaching for the condiments any time soon though....
To continue the theme of 'c***s you hated when they played for the h**s', how about Derek Johnstone as youth team coach and Terry Hurlock as chief scout.
FFS ........
Very good professional disposal of a team with serious SPL pretentions.
I would guess, that was just about the line up that most people would have played too.
(Except for the 'goal machine' not getting a game)
Hopefully, crisis over for a while
Chick just gave us another exclusive. Apparently Rangers and Celtic will take the first two places in the SPL this season. Remember, you heard it first from Chick Young
To be honest i thought some of Gow's through balls tonight were quite clever but other players weren't on the same wavelength.
Reynolds was honkin' and Craigan was a bit hesitant a clumsy sometimes.
As someone else said, Hearts managed to make sure we got nothing out of Murph and Hump, and we didn't seem capable of working out another way through. Way too one dimensional.
Jenno will be missed on Saturday too.
Bad times
Interesting re Collins. I had heard some of that from other places and articles when he got ythe bullet.
In some ways, his ideas are sound, but as you say, unlikely to work in this country. Players doing a days work, every day ? Not fucking likely
