  1. Current form would tend to support your thinking: Us at Home P13 W5 D3 L5 F17 A22 Pts 18 Dundee Away P12 W3 D3 L6 F17 A22 Pts 12 Having watched us through the years, more times than not when we’ve been we involved in 6 pointer games we bottle it.
  2. I think what you say is fair and reasonable and I too always felt he had a limit on his football ability. However, I always felt he made the most of the attributes he did have and always worked his socks off when he played for us. I always felt he would be best used as a defence protecting midfielder, operating in the spaces between defence and midfield. And like you, I’d have him back.
  3. Be interesting to see how Alan Campbell does against us.
  4. An intriguing, if slightly risky appointment from a board I didn’t think had it in them to think outside the box and all credit to them for that and for avoiding the usual suspects whose names appear every time there’s a managerial vacancy. A very warm welcome to our club Michael and wishing you all the very best in your new venture. I hope it won’t be too much of a culture shock for you. COYW.
  5. Totally agree Grizzly. He’s one of those rare players who has a consistently reliable level of performance. He reminds me very much of past stalwarts like Joe Wark, Martin ‘Kaiser’ Corrigan and Brian ‘Buff’ Martin. Unfortunately he’s out for 4 months after a thigh op and he’s approaching 35, an age at which it gets increasingly harder to recover from injury.
  6. I think perhaps St.Johnstone may be too far behind to avoid automatic relegation and St. Mirren and Hearts have too much about them to be drawn into a scrap for the play-off spot. That would leave ourselves, Ross County and Dundee as the ones involved in that and I think the next few games will go a long way to decide who will end up there. Sat 22nd February Dundee Utd v Motherwell Ross County v Dundee Wed 26th February Motherwell v Dundee St. Johnstone v Ross County Thoughts?
  7. That’s like owning a house without a roof.
  8. Great post; not! FYI I do not have a problem. However I can’t be arsed getting into a debate with folk that post cryptic drivel.
  9. I fail to see how that could have been worse
  10. What in the name of f*ck does that mean?
  11. If we do end up in the play-off spot then it’s likely we’d have to play either Ayr Utd or Livingston. Not a prospect to look forward to.
