1. You won't get anything from McGhee. The interviewer on Setanta sounds like a stupid wee lassie so she's unlikely to ask any searching questions, such as '"Mark, just exactly what was in your head when you picked that midfield?"
2. I heard from a very reliable source that the USH is kaput. It's apparently not fit for purpose and they are scared to turn it up to the right temperature as the boiler might blow.
3. Its not just the defeats. Its the manner of the defeats. We are leaking goals like a sieve and we are unable to stop the bleeding. Whoever decided to take Krimpl on should be checked out a Specsavers asap! In the January transfer window he better get the f*ucking digit out and get at least 3 decent defenders in for Hammell, Craigan/Klimpl and Quinn. Oh and get Reynolds to left back or midfield where he can do less damage.
4. Aye but who the f*ck is out there, available and interested?
5. People need to face the harsh facts of life regardless of how well some of these players were last season they were p*sh under Malpas and managed to ike out one good season for a new manager. Now they have reverted back to type. Hammell, Quinn, Reynolds, Krimpl, McGarry, D.Smith and O'Brien are simply not good enough for the SPL and if he persists with them then he will reap the reward - relegation. Believe me, I've seen this type of thing at FP before and it has all the hallmarks of train wreck. The club are spiralling dangerously out of control at present and there's no sign of it coming to a halt. Confidence will now be on the floor and it then becomes a vicious cycle. He should have gutted the squad during the summer but then he hadn't really planned to be here.
6. Tuning out now. No more to be said. Oh other than McGhee out asap.
7. 63 minutes to see McGarry's f*cking useless. Manager!!!!!!
8. Just watch and see how bad O'Brien is now - that's if he actually gets himself involved!!!!!!
9. Agh the master plan - he's bringing on O'Brien for Murphy. What a lot of shite.
10. Its utter crap. No tactics other than lump high balls forward hoping that either Porter or Sutton get on the end of them. Problem is most of the crosses are being humped in from about 40 yards and mostly by Hammell who couldn't cross a road. No midfield and no width to our game at all and we are looking too predictable and clueless. McGarry, Lasley Quinn and Murphy in a midfield - what a shambles. What is McGarry doing and Quinn in a midfield role?? Looks to me like McGhee hasn't got a clue. Lose this one and it looks highly likely then we are going to the SFL for sure. What a complet and utter f*ck-up!!
11. The Green Guide The Guide has no statutory force but many of its recommendations will be made statutory at individual grounds by their inclusion in safety certificates issued under the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975 or the Fire Safety and Safety of Places of Sport Act 1987. Standing in Seated Areas Persistent standing by spectators in seated areas raises significant safety, crowd management and customer care issues which are usually interrelated. Where these are likely to arise, the ground management should prepare a comprehensive risk assessment and plans for resolving them. Local authorities should take these into account when agreeing the appropriate factor for the accommodation and/or event concerned. Local authorities should also consider whether the capacity should be reduced to counter particular safety problems, for example obstructed gangways or spectators standing in the front rows of upper tiers. Management Responsibility Responsibility for the safety of spectators lies at all times with the ground management. The management will normally be either the owner or lessee of the ground, who may not necessarily be the promoter of the event. These policies should take into consideration the safety of all spectators, including, for example, those with disabilities, the elderly, families and children. Representatives of management cannot, however, be reasonably expected to possess all the technical knowledge and skills required to assess and apply every recommendation in the Guide. Management should therefore, whenever required, seek guidance from competent persons who have the relevant qualifications, skills and experience. Representatives of the local authority with the relevant training and experience, together with police, fire and ambulance officers, will advise management on how to discharge its responsibility, and, in certain circumstances, may require measures to be taken in order to achieve reasonable safety standards. This does not, however, exonerate the ground management from its responsibility for the safety of spectators. Nuff said. Make as much din as you like BUT sit on yer duffs.

Mark McGhee

McGhee should put all thoughts of 'moving to bigger and better things' out of his head, buckle down work hard and try and make a go of it with us. If he can turn our season around then he'd be thought better of by the fans and his stock might rise again. As far as signings are concerned he wants to forget about getting 'out of favour' OF players in that we can't afford to pay wages (e.g. Malcolm) and get his scouts out looking around seriously the way those at the likes of Dundee Utd, Kilmarnock, Falkirk and Hibs have done.
13. Yes, sounds quite positive. She needs to be given time though because she will have a lot on her plate and the situation she has inherited won't be fixed overnight. Good luck and best wishes to Leeann.
14. First and foremost we need to start making ourselves hard to beat even if that means grinding out a few 0-0 draws particularly away from FP. It may go against McGhee's attack minded philosophy but when you are the end of the SPL we are then you need to be able to scrap it out. Alas we look far too light weight in too many key areas to scrap it out. Suggest that we start on Saturday by going to 4-5-1 and try to shut the game down and plan not to lose. If break-away chances come then good and well but I don't think we should go chasing the game. To do this all the players - particularly the midfielders - need to operate as a unit and be disciplined at keeping the defensive shape of the team. This is something we are piss poor at so it won't be easy. Start by telling the two full backs not to cross halfway line especially Hammell who is so easily sucked forward out of position.

Sometimes needs must and wee Gerbil Jaws was adept at this kind of tactic of setting us up and making us hard to score against when required. McGhee needs to do likewise, for a wee while at least until we are safely away from the trap door to SFL1.
15. Aye, looks fine enough BUT then so is Smith at shot-stopping. How is he at dealing with cross balls. The video didn't show any. And we need a keeper who can and will dominate in and around the 6-yard box.

Yabbas, I empathasise with you. However you didn't miss much and the muppets couldn't even spellcheck it before sending it out. Under Boyle, the club has reached an alltime low and particularly in respect of its relations with its lifeblood, the supporters. I too am absolutely scunnered wit them right now.
17. I thought it was our back four.
18. There is so much wrong with this lot at present that you would not know where to start to sort it. McGhee is to be applauded for achieving what he did last season by squeezing what he did out of what in all honestly was a set of journeymen. I think that they are now reverting back to type and that a clear out of sorts should have been made at the end of last season. McGhee clearly did not intend to be here at the end of last season so there was never any planning done for this. As a result we are now in dire trouble with as poor and thread bare first team squad as in the SPL. From tonight's debacle, I could only give Saunders, Hughes, Sutton and Porter pass marks. I would have included Smith but I didn't think he should have been beaten accross his body with the second goal. The rest were absolutely shocking, even normally reliable Lasley. But what is really frightening is when you look to the bench for replacements and see the likes of Smith, O'Brien and Fitzpatrick. O'Brien is one of the worst players I've ever seen at Fir Park and quite why he was given any contract never mind a 2-year one, baffles me. With Porter, Hughes and Smith probably offski in the January transfer window, a potless chairman and a clapped out ground then Saturday's game against Hamilton really does become quite pivotal in our season and possibly our future.
19. I think his statement about looking at 50 players for possible loan deals etc. for the January transfer window absolutely ridiculous. I think he now realises that what he got out of this lot was a one season wonder and that they are all reverting back to type as they were under the previous manager. Add to this that he has nada in the way of back-up players and it all adds up to panic.

Mark McGhee

Contrary to others opinions, I believe if things continue to worsen that he will do a 'Roy Keane' and walk, citing lack of funds (already moaning about this) and lack of ambition.

Season ticket holder of long standing but elected not to go tonight and watched on Setanta from warm comfort of armchair. I got chairman's recent insulting letter and fed-up with being treated with utter contempt decided not to go tonight. Next season, assuming we are still in SPL I won't be renewing my season ticket and will pick what games I go to. Grim reality setting in for chairman but I reckon he's reaping what he sowed.
