  1. No ones done a new team for the man so I'll start! He likes 3-1-4-2 so good luck to me Balcombe Gordon Casey Blaney Davor Sparrow Miller Slattery Wilson Armstrong & Maswanhise Subs: Ward, O'Donnell, Balmer, Halliday, Watt, Paton & Kirk
  2. It's an interesting point. He was better pre-injury. What I would say is this - a lot is pointed to Kettlewells bad run of games but lets look at his best run. Johnston & Furlong as wing backs. It wasn't just Van Veens great run of form. If we play 3 at the back we need dynamic wing backs and O'Donnell is unfortunately not a fit for that system. Perhaps in a 4 at the back at RB.
  3. Casey, Paton, Nicholson and Maswanhise to come in.
  4. Anything on todays diplay that allows these 4 to be playing next time round?
  5. Maybe but it would help to put the right players on the park from the off and sort out the tactics. Will go a long way.
  6. That hopefully dispels any thoughts on Frail remaining at the club.
  7. I said it last week but the benefit of the doubt was given to Frail because it was Celtic. He's shown nothing for me and the sooner he is gone the better. Can we sub Halliday off please.
  8. Who is O'Donnell shouting at for losing his man causing a goal? Genuine question.
  9. No point me moaning at the end - Balmer, O'Donnell, Halliday and Watt are disappointments for me in the starting 11. Nice to see Slattery and Miller back.
  10. Absolutely need a new manager Celtic or not - I didn't see anything to suggest Frail had any alterations to Kettlewells failing formation Adding to that the fact that he will likely play anyone in front of Casey at the back - Frail needs moved on prior to this game.
  11. I was talking to a Celtic fan and here's why it happens. The green brigade arrive on mass and all sit together irrespective of seat numbers. Some then like to sit beside them, some the polar opposite. This leads to absolutely no one sitting in their correct seats and the problem that we see. Really up to Celtic board to sort that out - but I doubt we will see that anytime soon
  12. Some of his previous tactics were criminal though.
  13. Evatt prefers to play attacking possession-based football, with his Barrow team nicknamed "Barrowcelona" due to the attacking football they played.[68][69] At Barrow he played a 3-4-1-2 formation and used the same system at Bolton Wanderers. He changed to a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Bolton going from 20th to third and achieving promotion to League One.[69][70][56] Evatt frequently decides against naming a substitute goalkeeper on the bench, preferring to have more attacking options and has had outfield players do goalkeeping training, just in case.[71][72] Evatt will sometimes bring on attacking players when winning matches rather than defensive players, preferring to score more goals than defend a lead.[73]
  14. Sounds like a Kettlewell formation with 5 mins to go!
  15. Lowe's managerial style has been influenced by Jürgen Klopp, Pep Guardiola, Rafa Benítez and Lowe's long-time friend Steven Gerrard, among others.[3] He is attack-minded, and Bury in 2018–19 were one of the Football League's highest-scoring teams; their style, described as "gung-ho",[3] soon brought success as the club finished second in League Two and earned promotion back to League One.[41] Lowe explained in an interview with The Guardian that he wanted to instil a "winning philosophy" and that, by outscoring their opponents, Bury would have a greater chance of achieving that goal. The on-field strategy was effectively a 3-1-4-2 formation.[3]
