Hibs one up on Aberdeen.....
-
Cheers - I've tried this before, don't think you can subscribe during a game and I keep forgetting to do it afterwards.

Where you getting this? Even an audio stream would do for me

Ages since I've seen a goal lift a team in the way O'Hara's did tonight. That sparked a complete turnaround and with one kick of the ball we seemed to have forgotten the last two months. I did have the fear about 20 minutes into the second half that we'd rue those endless missed chances, but we eventually had a player in Long who decided to just run a man and put in a blinder of a ball to Campbell. Two of many outstanding performers tonight. It's great to see the team still has a performance in them like that. Considering selling a kidney so I can afford to go to Tynecastle now.

It's the same group of hard working players who have a European spot in our own hands so hopefully the crowd is patient tomorrow and gets behind them. Canny be fucked with sitting 3rd and folk sitting grumbling into their bovril after 5 minutes. It's clear that hitting the back of the net has been a huge problem since christmas. Curiosity took me to scorers in the 7 games since then compared to the first 7 of the season. Has the departures of Cole and Scott really lost us all these goals? First 7 - Donnelly (4), Cole (2), Long (1), Seedorf (2), Hylton (2), Campbell (1), Hartley, Gallagher Last 7 - Donnelly (2), Long (1)

My initial thought that was it a bit weird producing a 38 minute film on a knee injury, but I fired it on anyway. Absolutely brilliant, the level of access we get has to be the best in Scotland.

We've suspected it for a while, but I think Edinburgh Sheriff Court just proved beyond reasonable doubt that you talk absolute shite.
-
That's a crazy suggestion, but I like it.
-
Amazed anyone thinks that was us trying to play football.
-
Were you asked to the leave the under 12's for being too annoying or something? You seem so bitter towards the club. It's weird.

I completely agree with everything you're saying, however I think you need to be mindful that we're a club that has only just cleared it's debts and are now in a position to develop a strategy of investment / building a structure which will hopefully allow us to consistently put a strong team on the park and give us, the fans, a more consistent chance of cup finals and Euro spots. It may be boring necessity over the next few years but if money is invested wisely we could have years and years of quality talent through the team rather than the occasional gem. Our current financial strategy also involves selling one player a season for a decent amount - our last big sale was Kipre in August 2018. Despite losing a few academy players (Hastie / Caddden) we didn't hit a big sale in the summer transfer window so £1m would be a huge boost for the club just now. Also, I think the fact we're getting through the transfer window and holding onto Gallagher, Polworth, Campbell, Donnelly and Gillespie is cause for celebration. But aye, I'd rather watch Scott and Turnbull too.... but I get what the club are doing here.

Not the Longer Listen, but for those wanting a wee insight into one of the non-footballing sides of our club here's an hour with Alan Burrows talking about MFC marketing. A good insight into those behind the scenes, worth a listen on the way to work or doing the dishes. https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/25-inside-motherwell-fc-with-chief-executive-alan-burrows/id1411592525?i=1000464117512

Fair play to the club. We'd have taken that kind of money a few years ago. Just shows the solid financial footing we're in now.

Petravicius has joined Queen of the South

I thought the same for a wee while, but make no mistake - it's easy to be the better man when you've had a decade of dominance. As soon as Celtic start losing you'll see the same hypocritical, paranoid and bitter shite coming from them too. All took was for our wee club to stand our ground with a transfer fee and they started with the utterly bizarre statements. Just wait till 10 in a row dies...

Of course, sorry that comment wasn't aimed at you at all. It's the "never a footballer" comments aimed at 21/22 year old players who have played 5 games for us. Illic and Seedorf have had it from a few.
-
Pretty standard for any young player who hasn't come through our ranks. Seedorf's getting it too. Think we just need to look at Donelly to know that players in their early twenties are still learning and developing. I doubt many would have predicted he'd become the player he is now. Madness to write anyone that age off.

Prepare to be disappointed.

I thought that was overall a good controlling performance that just lacked that wee bit of quality / luck in the penalty box. Campbell, Donnelly and Polworth were excellent in particular. When a decent team like Hibs turn up and park the bus, you know we're a team that's feared. Our 6 forwards probably about 100 professional appearances between them so it's hardly surprising that we struggled to break a jam packed defence down and to Hibs credit, they also nullified anything we chucked into the box for Hartley and Gallagher to attack. Disappointed with just the point but only because it was a very decent performance.

Couldn't agree more. I think people think that because he's not flying into tackles he's not adding anything defensively. It's obvious his strengths don't lie in tackling, however there's plenty of games this season where I've thought he must have covered every inch of grass to press the opposition. I bet his running stats are up there with anyone in the squad and that constant pressure is a huge part of our defensive game.

That's an absolutely incredible result.

Cant find a live stream. Cant find audio commentary. Text updates it is.
