Main is definitely missing chances that he was smashing in last season and he seems to have let some hesitation creep into his game. That killer instinct is gone. That said, from that semi final to the end of the season he only played 5 games and it was over a period of less than 4 weeks. He's not been great so far this season however has scored 2 in 3 appearances, both with that slice of luck that strikers need from time to time. I don't think we've lost him just yet.

Decent enough performance. Fantastic to see Cadden at full steam and Sammon with two very well taken goals, particularly his second. I didn't think there was a great deal to get excited about beyond that, particularly from the new signings. Johnson had a few decent moments but that's the second time in 4 days I've watched Taylor Sinclair play and I've yet to see what attributes he brings to the team. I also have no problem with long ball tactics if it's effective, but that last 30 minutes of punting it up to Sammon was absolutely brutal. A complete gamble every time with a pretty low success rate. If ever there was a time to try and play some possession football surely it's 2-0 up against lower league opposition. We did it in spells, then resorted to the punt - better teams will take advantage of that no bother. The one good thing is that we know the core of last years team still have much more to offer so there's plenty of room for improvement.

I absolutely couldn't agree more. Bigi is a joy to watch on the ball and Im as frustrated as any that we cant fit him into the team. Unfortunately it appears Robinson doesn't see it that way.

On the ball Bigi is probably our most talented player however think he's left out because off the ball, he's one of those players who are simply a gap on the field. You could see he upped the effort in that area after Robinson made a few thinly veiled digs in public, however I just don't think he has it in his game.

I'm not sure it's all about minutes in legs. The players went out to win today, we were just shite. There is however always going to be an element of pre-season feeling about this stage of the competition. It's effectively replaced pre-season and I'd guess was only agreed because the big clubs "should" be able to build fitness / try shapes and change personnel, while the smaller clubs get a few extra cup game with a guarantee of playing a premiership side. It's win-win. Except when we lose a penalty shoot out.

Drove down to the match today. Ach, it was a good laugh to be honest. Highlight was definitely Max Currie's saves after getting pelters from the 'well fans behind the goals the entire second half (some of quite funny, some of it just bawbaggery). Quite a few areas of concern today but I'll hold off judgement until after Tuesday.

I'd take a wild guess that the club, and the media department in particular who have invested a lot in building a social media presence and positive club reputation will give a fuck about a likes. Particularly when it relates to an allegation of a young player whose dad is in intensive care being bullied by our manager.

Surprised to see a few citing Celtics dominance as part of the reason they won't renew. Since when did we care about the top of the table? I for one have loved this season in Scottish football. It's been bonkers and entertaining and we have certainly played our part in that. Regardless of whats going on elsewhere I'll be going into next season like I do every season - dreaming of something magic. For that reason alone I'll be renewing.

Is that another player of ours been spotted ordering chips instead of mashed potato in Nandos? Shocking. I'm curious as to where you get information on his diet and application. I don't know Ciftcis injury history with us, but I highly doubt Robinson would sign anyone who isn't applying themselves. That goes against everything Robinson is trying to do here, which is all about senior pros leading by example and creating an 'in it together' culture. Unless you are 'in the know', then I'll trust the managers judgement here.
