I posted before the Killie game that top 6 was absolutely dead if we lost however with Hearts drawing with Ross County that weekend then getting beat at Ibrox we're now only 3 points behind Levein's team. Do folk think it's possible? Here's our fixtures: Aberdeen (H), Accies (A), Celtic (H), Rangers (H), St Johnstone (A). Hearts: Kilmarnock (H), Hibs (A), Partick (H), Dundee (A), Aberdeen (H). It's a long shot with us still to play Aberdeen, Celtic and Rangers however they're all at Fir Park and we're currently 3rd in the 'home form' league this season. Hearts games vs Kilmarnock, Hibs and Aberdeen are almost just as tough as those three. I could see both teams picking up 7-9 points in the run in which unfortunately wouldn't be enough for us to claw the deficit back but it's good going into these games with the possibility still there.

Think Clackscat has it right absolutely right apart from one other wee factor - folk do love a moan.

Do we add 'revenue lost due to broken seats' to the Celtic invoice? Anyone know what's happening with that?

Teams can apparently call the game off in the Europa league if it hits -15. Some of tea Russian games are played close to that. Wind chill of -8? Easy.

Just noticed a win today and a hearts defeat takes us within 3 points of then. Top 6 dream still (kinda) alive?

Bowman might have come back just a game too late. He was absolutely fantastic (couple of poor passes aside) and had he'd played 20 mins last week and got a bigger chunk of time this week we might have got something from today and still be in the hunt for top 6. Can't wait to see him and Main link up on the coming weeks - assuming Robinson sees things that way.

£18 for a quarter final. Happy with that. Cheaper than usual tickets so hopefully that's an incentive for folk to come.

I'd love to see how our away support proportionately compares to other clubs. We do seem to take a decent crowd every couple of games. Not sure if it's more or less than other "provincial" clubs but proportionately I'm fairly sure it shits all over the city clubs. Do Rangers and Celtic even sell out the south stand when they visit?

1-0 Celtic 4-0 Brora 3-2 tonight with an 87th minute winner vs 10 men. Feelgood factor well and truly at Rugby Park - could see a good away crowd on Saturday.

Not for me. I think 6th place is tight between us and Killie and don't think Dundee will be near us so ideally a Dundee win.

I never band about the phrase "must win" unless it's a mathematical fact (Unlike some posters here who say it in the 2nd week of September). I'm making this game an exception. I think there's only one spot up for grabs in the top 6 and the momentum is well and truly with Killie. With 3 points behind us and 3 games in hand I do think we've got to take full points from this game to have any chance of the top 6.

Enjoyed that. Frantic and entertaining first half - second half Dundee done well to nullify everything in the final third but we were well worthy of the win.

I've been trying to work out exactly what Robinson means by the phrase. He used it quite a few times the other night. I think he means in the frantic opening parts of the game you've got employ certain tactics to get a physical and psychological foothold on the game. The game at that stage is too tight and opposition players have too much energy for us to even try pass it round them.

Rose, Campbell, Dunne, Main all excellent today. Tanner looked great when he came on. Good to see Cadds run at people again. Didn't always work for him but a bit of positivity for the first time in a while. St Johnstone were awful.

Robinson was full of praise for him on Saturday when I thought he had one of his worst games for us. Doubt he'll get dropped any time soon. Strangely enough, Hartley on Mixlr the other week was saying it's an absolute dream having McHugh sitting in front of the defence... even when we had all been saying he'd been poor for weeks. Maybe we've genuinely no got a clue?

Dunne was absolutely outstanding but Kipre has taken it up a level the last few games. Absolutely nothing got past him yesterday.

Disappointing the lobotomy kid Wes Fletcher isn't still around to do that.

How would that work in practice? I doubt many Well Society members would have the knowledge to understand the true implications of any kind of financial income and I doubt many would vote based on anything other than wanting the best players on the pitch at all times, which we know isn't necessarily in the best interests of the club. To be fair - I do see Robinson trying to force Celtic to get to their price without the fucking about with his line "Player's valuations go up and down depending on what point in the window you're at because the closer you are to the end then the timescale to replace them becomes very difficult."

Penalty just awarded against Celtic with a "challenge" almost identical to Kipre on Sinclair. Only the boy didn't go down. Can't wait to hear Rodgers take on it.

All very good, but will it help us clean the paint off the east stand stairs?

I've recently found myself switching the mixlr commentary off for that very reason. It becomes almost unlistenable at times. I've tuned into Partick Thistle TV and Rangers TV and I'd honestly rather listen to those commentators than some of our own.
