  1. Yes, Morton were shite however if this had been last season we wouldn't have dominated the game in the way we did and our performance would still be peppered with unforced errors and misplaced passes. Even the worst performing teams still had their chances against us but that wasn't the case at all yesterday. That in itself is in an indication that we have improved massively. I'm tentatively excited about what we saw yesterday. Easily the best football we've played in a couple of seasons. If we can play to anywhere near that standard against better opposition then we should be safe.
  2. That's not very nice is it?
  3. McDonald said on radio Scotland a few weeks ago in a pretty candid interview that he clashed with Robinson and couldn't work with him as a player again.
  4. Not sure why to be honest and it all seems a bit too personal for my liking. Aside from having a public moan about a plastic pitch, have I missed something? Is it because he's always injured? He's not the first nor will be the last player to be signed and not set the heather alight. Is it because the haircut, selfies, tattoos and tweeting are only acceptable if you are scoring goals?
  5. Let's not kid ourselves - Blyth would be absolutely mental to agree to cut his contract. The only benefit would be Mothewell's. He's got a year left and isn't going to find another club while injured. He has a long(ish) term injury sustained while in our employment and needs access to treatment / operations / rehab. While he's probably better paid than most 24 year olds, he's hardly had a career that would see him with plenty in the bank for a rainy day. Unfortunately, he's going to have quite a few rainy months ahead so financially I imagine he needs this contract and access to our medical facilities. Unless of course pumping a burd from Geordie Shore is in fact a genius career move.

Where are folk getting the attitude problem stuff from?

Ach you know what I mean. In the build up I thought his passing was pretty sharp and he was trying to move the ball about. When it came to whipping that final ball in, I agree he just couldny do it.

Disagree - I thought his passing was sharp and purposeful. He just couldny run, tackle and lacked a final ball. Worth noting he's also only 21 and didn't get his debut till December 2014 which isn't the 4 years some folk are claiming. Good luck to him - We need exciting players in this league and he's still got a bit of time to develop. I'd actually love to see his talent turn into something meaningful on the pitch - as long as he's shite against us I'd be delighted to see him do well. I wonder if Killie have their own Nando's Police?

Aye, till Cadden put him in his pocket.
  10. Wasn't the best football but it was effective. We also broke the post-war record for points (for the third season in a row I think), longest post-war winning streak and aye, Albion Rovers was brutal but I'd say the team made up for that in the most glorious fashion in the last 30 seconds of the season up in Pittodrie. I'm sure for anyone there, that will be the dominant memory of that season and it was fucking brilliant.
  11. I canna keep up with these players man. Who is who?
  12. Surprised he's been giving Bowman game time if he's not in his plans.
  13. Absolutely. Last season I thought he's definitely got something about him - hoping a good pre-season and some confidence and we'll have a decent player on our hands.
  14. Definitely a must win IMO.
  15. Absolutely this. We've got a guy at the club who engages directly with fans. What's not to like?
  16. Not that I check often, but I thought his twitter was a fairly standard 21 year old's - just a wee bit wittier at times. I must've missed the rest. If he was turning it on on on the pitch not sure this would be a point of discussion.
  17. Decent away kit. It's like when I see my own car in a different colour.
  18. Nah, I'd rather we knew what we were dealing with on the first game of the season and whoever replaces has had something of a pre-season with the rest of the team. There is also the issue of the financial implications if Moult goes early. We might get enough to put some more into the wage kitty which would give us better options in the transfer market. Don't know if I'm the only one here - but I actually don't think he's guaranteed to go this transfer window.
  19. Interesting interview with Skippy on radio Scotland there. He was greeting after Skippy Sunday as he realised what he had done. Uncle Phil told him to get his head out of his arse. In January he felt like a wean in a cot screaming to get out and go to Australia but Motherwell wouldn't let him go. He admitted his performances dipped after that because he was unhappystaying. He clashed with Robinson and doesn't think he could work with him as a player again. Sounds worse than it is - he actually came across as an honest pro who gave his all for every club he was at.
  20. What are folk basing their opinions on Bigirimana on? I know fuck all about him.
  21. Assuming Cads is the player we saw in the first half of the season.
  22. Never one to trust wikipedia football stats, but if true - while he's not had a huge number of games over the years his goals to games ratio looks decent.
  23. http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/bigi-joins-motherwell.76850/ Wee mixture of good luck big man, no great loss, gutted, don't the door hit you on the arse, judas and all sorts of shite chat about money that is almost certainly shite.
  24. Well... that's not a very long video is it?
