You should hear what he says about you.

Hard to tell from the replays, but if Cadden booted his foot and not the ball then it's a foul. Simple.
-
Surprised at a few comments here. I thought the team dug deep today, we just lacked that killer instinct. Kennedy was decent considering he's rarely played and for Cadden to slot in to a senior game in the way he did has got to be exciting for the fans when we are busy lamenting the lack of players coming through the u20's. We are passing the ball and controlling the ball in a way that was unimaginable a few months ago. If McGhee gets the personnel he needs then we will be safe.

Typical Ross-shire media trying to unsettle the opposition before a monumental lower/mid table clash.
-
Oh my.

Given that being allowed to stand is relatively new, if someone has had a seat at the back for 15 years then they win that game of top trumps I'm afraid.
-
This is to both points - He's only started 3 times under McGhee, and he's mentioned freeing up wages a couple of times. We might be getting rid if he's not going to feature in his plans. . If it's Scunthorpe, are they a club in a position to offer a decent fee? Don't know much about them but with lower attendances than us I've got to wonder if they can pay what we all probably think he's worth. If he does go hopefully I'm wrong and Ainsworth gets the move I think he's earned, and we get a decent fee, however I've got a feeling it's more to do with McGhee wanting rid.

No complaints with the penalty. Hard to tell which direction the ball is going in from the TV but I'd be shouting for it if that happened at oor end. We should have done more to see the game out. As a few pointed out, the substitutions did nothing to help the cause.

I was wondering where he was today, I assumed an injury. I've had a feeling he's not favoured by McGhee. A real shame if so. I was hoping he'd be the man to help Ainsworth capture the form and consistency we saw under McCall.

For the first time in many months we looked like a very well drilled team. Some very good spells of passing and moving, and excellent in the counter. Also got to be said, our defence soaked up a lot of pressure with ease. I was particularly nervous after Mcmanus went off but credit to the lads who came on and to the entire team for adapting well to the changes.
-
I voted Louis, however Ben Hall does deserve a mention for stepping up without fault. Credit to McManus for his part in that (and for an all round solid performance).

I actually thought Johnson did his fair share yesterday, albeit most of his tackling and harrying happened a bit further up the pitch. It was good to see him look properly fired up. Ainsworth on the other hand....
-
He looks like a player who understands the edge that bit of extra fitness can give. If you watch him in the warm ups, he's out there giving it that bit more than any other player. Then to go on the pitch and put in the type of shifts he does shows dedication to fitness and conditioning that every player should aspire to.

Folk do realise Joe Chalmers is 21 years old, has had 10 first team appearances and spent a big chunk of last year injured? His experience beyond that is 10 first team games at Falkirk. Add that to the fact he's playing in a team devoid of confidence and until recently devoid of leadership off (and arguably on) the park. I'll also chuck in that he's playing in a team who are only starting to understand 'pass and move'. If he looks indecisive on the ball it's usually because he's had 0 options. I don't know if he's good enough to make it at this level. He may not be. And I wouldn't mind if folk were saying he's not yet ready for 1st team action. Critique the managers to decision to put him in the team just now but for fuck sake, (and I appreciate it's only a couple of folk saying this) why would any youngster fancy coming to a club when they are calling for a 21 year old to be let go after 4 months at the club. Mental.

I'm surprised to see the outpouring of despair in the posts immediately after the final whistle. Not saying yesterday was brilliant, but we looked far more cohesive than we have for most of the last 18 months. Bizarrely I never felt we were completely out of the game until about the 80th minute. -

It's been a funny season for results. We've got the lowest number of goals (for and against) per game in the league. We've also only conceded more goals than Hearts and Celtic, and only been beaten by more than 1 goal twice which says to me something is working well across the back and in midfield. Even under Baraclough, as poor as we looked on the pitch the scorelines were never indicative of a team that was all over the place. While it certainly didn't look like it on the pitch, on paper that says to me we aren't far off some consistent good results. I'm hoping some belief and fight instilled by McGhee is all it will take to turn our season. I'd still be surprised if we scored or conceded more than 1 but Saturday might just be the day it all falls into place. 1-0 'well. -
We did. We just weren't very good at it.
-
I missed the 'forced to play' bit. Mcghee also said he sees an excellent midfielder in Louis Laing so we may see a lot more of him in that position regardless of who is available.
-
He could be right. Couple of decent league finishes and european qualification. Most will remember him for taking them beyond the group stages which was an amazing achievement.
-
A good chunk of our fans don't deserve McGhee back.
-
Utter shite. Won't go over criticisms that's already been covered. Some positives to take were Moult, who scores yet again and puts in a tireless shift. Baraclough's substitutions worked to fair play to him for that. Grimshaw looks promising and offered more calmness and confidence in 4 or 5 touches than Taylor did all game. Robinson too looked up for the fight. Who knows where we're going this season.

6 goals conceded so far and we've had a big hand in every single one of them. I honestly don't know what to make of that.

Never ever had a problem with seeing Craig Reid on the teamsheet. If his personal gets sorted out he'll be a valuable addition to the squad.
