With no league sponsor (among many other financial uncertainties over the next few years) I'm genuinely surprised we'd offer anyone a three year deal, never mind a player who will probably come in as one of the higher earners.

We would be the fittest team in the league under Collins. He's mental that way.

As a manager with recent EPL experience, not to mention Championship promotion and an FA cup semi final on his CV there is absolutely no chance we could afford him. He's only been out of work since October last year, won't be long before a job comes up in the Championship for him.

By the same token, McGhee would be mental to come back to a club with a support who vilified him (wrongly, in my opinion) so much. While he might be welcomed back by most people now, the good will would only last until our first sticky patch.

Got to agree with this. Faddy has been great signing however I don't think he's playing at full potential and hasn't been consistent enough to get the interest of level of club I imagine he will want to go to. I don't doubt however that he'll have other offers this window, but they just won't be to the type of clubs he wants to go to. I think it would make more sense for him to get another 4 or 5 months of competitive football with us; a familiar team; at full fitness, get the consistency right up. Come the winter transfer window, if all goes to plan, he'll be playing at his peak and we all know that means he'll get the move to the a much higher level.

He's been accused of that before on here and to be honest, I think it's utter bullshit. Yes, he's come off and seemed raging a few times, but he's a passionate player who knocks his pan in every game for the team. Any 'strop' when being subbed is far more likely to frustration with his own performance if things just haven't been happening for him on the pitch.

Humphrey will be sorely missed if he goes. He's one of the few players who, by simply having his name on the team sheet, affects how the opposition set up. That's before he even kicks a ball.

The level of criticism O'Brien gets is and has always been, baffling to me. He was a very good player for us, not the best we've seen at Fir Park but I'd happily see a signing of his quality to replace anyone we're losing this summer. I prefer Ojamaa for pure work ethic, the flashes of absolute brilliance and his all round character but on his day, O'Brien was still pretty fucking good for us.

It would have been almost completely impossible and probably illegal to change the share of 1st in the middle of the season. I don't think any SPL club can be criticised under these circumstances, and it's certainly not a 'disgrace'. It will however be interesting to see how the prize money is split this coming season. If 11/1 vote remains then I'm guessing it'll be the same setup as this season.

Not condoning violence at all, but you have a completely unbalanced and counter-productive attitude towards the club which can be frustrating at best, infuriating at worst. If your online persona is a reflection of how you are in real life then it's hardly surprising people around you only put up with your shite for so long before snapping.

If he'd played an absolute blinder on Sunday they would have undoubtedly shown an interest but I wonder if his performance which, by his admission, was his worse so far this season will keep them away.

Murder question. My heeds burst thinking about it but going on who we have on hand in the squad at the present moment, I'd say Higdon is the only one that is truly irreplaceable.

As for the game.... can't add much else. One of the most enjoyable games and performances at Fir Park in years! There was a 15 minute spell where Ojamaa and Faddy's link up play down the left was simply stunning. Despite the result, I've got genuinely mixed emotions. I'm delighted and gutted in equal measures with what can only be described as the title winning form we are displaying just now. I know we deal with players moving on every season but the potential of this team is frightening. Too bad it looks like it may be about to come to end. That said... Faddy 2nd place McCall on another 2 year contract Higdon hitting 26 goals Gubbing Celtic twice in 2 months. Maybe the good news will keep flowing in over the summer?

Yep, 2nd place is down from 15% last year to 10.5% this year. Full breakdown on page 36... SPL Rules 2012/13 No idea how much is in the revenue pot though.

One of the most enjoyable Motherwell performances this season. Great overall game as well.

It's not a huge stretch of the imagination to picture Faddy signing an extension. He's been excellent since his return however, with the exception of the Hibs game, he has been inconsistent. I reckon he's done enough to get a move to a bigger club however unless he finds that consistency now and for the remainder of the season, I'm not sure he's done enough to secure him the move to the type of club he wants to go to. A good pre-season, some European football (fingers crossed) and regular starts right up to the January window would probably see him performing consistently well and back at peak fitness, where he would no doubt get the move he's aiming for.

Spare ticket needs to be claimed (can be done over the phone) before close on Thursday. We'll hopefully see an extra few hundred come along. Of course, it is relying on people buying into the spirit of the offer which is to bring someone who doesn't usually attend games rather than just give the ticket to someone who usually pays at the gate. People, do the right thing.

It could of course be neither. We're a small club with a small backroom staff who only have so many hours in the day. They may not have even started negotiations. Higdon (or his representative) will sit down with the club when they need to. Simple.

Excellent Kat! It was an excellent source for past results and historical information even if it wasn't always right up to date. You have clearly put a lot of work into it, looking forward to it's return.

Is this site no more now? I know there is now a Facebook page which I assume has been setup by the same person however it's a real shame if the wealth of information on the original site is now lost.
