I actually agree with this sentiment however I'll clap because it's the decent thing to do. If a group of people feel the need to show respect for anyone under any circumstance and I'm there at the time then I'll join them in that. It simply looks insulting not to clap. Bit like Calderwoods comments about the minutes silence for Uncle Phil. While I think there was a degree of sense in what he was saying, under the circumstances he should not have went public with those comments.

There is a wee bit of truth in that. We've got a couple of players that defences really struggle with, Humphrey had 3 on him for spells in the second half yesterday as did Ojamaa. We just need to capitalise on the space that creates.

Am I right in saying the 1.5 million they are after doesn't need to be completely fan generated? If we get second or make a few quid in Europe, will that go into the kitty too?

Did someone on here no used to sell Motherwell DVD's? I'm sure I remember seeing a list of old games that were available.

Unfortunately I think if he tried to limit that part of his game he would be nowhere near as effective. Our central midfield have been integral to our success this year and that is no small part down to the fact that Lasley and Jennings like a tackle. They play pretty close to the edge sometimes and it just takes that bit of over-enthusiasm or mis-timing to give someone a sore one.

Yip. I'll take a fair and entertaining sporting competition over a rich one any day. This is nothing to do with punishing Rangers. This is a chance to change the status-quo that has for years held Scottish Football back. I honestly believe Scottish football is a sleeping giant being held down by the weight of the old firm. Letting Rangers straight back in says to me that we aren't interested in progress - in breaking the deadlock. If Motherwell FC aren't interested in that, and can't see the past the short term gains then I'm scunnered. Not saying I'll make a conscious decision to not go back, but I know it might knock enough enthusiasm out of me to make me think twice about putting my hand in my pocket.

Naaah, I'm ever the optimist. Always looking above on the table, not below. I'd take a Dundee United win because 1)I genuinely think we've got enough in the tank and given ourselves enough of a cushion to take a decent challenge from them and still finish above them 2)The million pounds difference between 2nd and 3rd. 3)Rangers complete capitulation is absolute comedy gold.

Magic! Although, still nothing guaranteed yet. Dundee United seem to hit a right good run of form. 9 goals scored - 0 conceded in the last 3 SPL games. 10 points of a gap with 27 points to play for. Still a lot of goals to be scored and games to be won for us. Bring it on!

I'm not too sure if it is rivalry, I think people are just looking for some context. Granted Lennon has put together a strong squad relative to the rest of the SPL but that's something a mediocre manager could probably do these days. It's impossible to tell how good a manager he really is when he has Celtics budget. Is it really an achievement? McCall on the other hand has taken the team with probably the 3rd lowest income to 3rd in the league. That is without doubt a massive achievement. I honestly wouldn't moan if Lennon got it. It's just really difficult to establish how much Celtic have actually achieved this season.

Yip. Midfield and up-front I genuinely didn't think there was too much between the teams at Fir Park but they were absolutely shocking at the back. If they play like that again Ojamaa and Higdon could take them apart very easily if they are on form.

The money was raised by various supporters clubs specifically for this purpose. I also imagine getting them over here is excellent exposure for the charity.
