It was between Higdon and Hutch for me before he went Higs went goal crazy. Daley and Ojamaa also worth a big mention but has to be Higdon.

Absolutely not. As you have pointed out we're in a sound financial footing just now and I believe we can go on without the well society, possibly for many many years. Having it up and running is however a massive step in ensuring on-going financial security. We have no idea what is round the corner for Motherwell, Scottish football or football as a whole and it just seems like common sense to have this safety net in place should this worst case scenario unfold.

Aye, it's a massive leap from 2nd to 3rd price money. One of the (many) reasons the SPL is an unfair sporting competition and significantly weighted towards keeping Rangers and Celtic on top.

Rangers are dropping points all over the place. It's been years since we (or any other team) have had a better chance of getting 2nd. We'll drop points along the way so, as has been mentioned, really depends what nick Rangers find themselves in.

I'll be joining this week and the tv deal fine print won't matter a jot to me. The setanta deal had collapsed, sky came to the rescue with a (reduced) deal and at that point I don't think anyone could have dreamed the economy and/or rangers would be in this position. I can also only assume spl rules will be enforced and sky will re-negotiate depending on the current circumstance. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for a club to ground themselves in 2nd spot for a few years. Rangers will be back at some point so this window of opportunity to change scottish football for the better and I want to back motherwell and make the one of the few financially stable clubs in scotland. Regardless, I want motherwell to exist. End of story.

I'd like to think the Champions League stuff grabs the imagination of floating fans on both sides here and we get a bigger turn out than usual. Wee bit of extra excitement to what was already a very important game.

It's only a good thing that our club creates a positive impression with opposition fans. Good experiences like this will only get more folk through the gate.

I honestly believe mccall is here to start and finish a job. He's building his own team at motherwell and I just get the impression he's more interested in finishing what he set out to do. No way I can afford 300 quid before the end of march but I'll be signing up this week to pay in instalments. Fitba clubs are going out of business all over the country and its happening at an increasing rate so I'm happy to do without some other stuff to guarantee I can still see motherwell in season 2020. Its a small price to pay in the grand scheme. No brainer.

As much as I'm gaggin for him to sign its worth remembering that we've been sitting in 3rd most the season without him. He seems to be the missing piece of the jigsaw that'll pull us through this tough spell and possibly take us to a different level performance-wise however I still had faith in the current squad to take us to europe.
