  1. Aston Villa Director - "Over zealous stewards can destroy the atmosphere of the club as fast as poor play." From the news story at the weekend here Hopefully no-one has experienced anything as bad as that but the general points in the article are things every chairman in Scotland should be thinking about.
  2. Any idea when tickets go on sale?

I'm in the same boat. If we'd won that game it would probably have turned into one of those 'i was there' moments. I'll trade skill for drama and excitment any day. My submission is 1-0 defeat to Raith Rovers in Dec 1996. Hardly a significant game but memorable only because it was probably the single worst game of football I've ever seen. I don't think more than 2 passes were strung together all game, 0 shots on goal until the 90th minute when Raith scored and it was fuuuuuuuuuuuckin freeeeeeeeeeeeeezin.
  4. Who decides the ticket prices?
  5. A wee upset tonight and the right draw, could see us and Aberdeen in the final.

    Ins & Outs

They mentioned 3 or 4 premiership clubs on the radio before the game, the only one I remember was Stoke.
  7. Yip. Only worrying thing is that 2 of the front three could be gone in 3 months time.
  8. Oh aye, what was the attendance?
  9. That's a big gigantic 3 points for us. I'm kinda waiting for the wheels to fall off and thought today would be the day but delighted to be proved wrong. Slightly dissapointed to hear Gow was getting pelters. I was working but listened to the game on the radio, every time his name was mentioned he was doing something fantastic. Certainly didn't sound like a poor performance.
  10. Is that what the propsal is though? I was under the impression they had a few different structures in mind. I'm starting to think it doesn't matter anyway. Whatever is proposed or changed probably isn't going to address the fact that people are being well and truly priced out the game.
  11. The problem with buses is that they always end up back where they started.
  12. There isn't a single team outwith the old firm we should be scared of however the margin of quality between just about every team is so slim this year that it just takes a very slight dip/increase in form to take points off each other. That said, we've won ugly a few times and also shown glimpses of being a truly fantastic team which is why we are sitting in 3rd just now. Hopefully it's not just early momentum from our european games and it can continue. We've taken 13 point's from 6 non OF games so a similar run of form will see us take another 20 or so which I'd be absolutely delighted with.
  13. Good to see him on the bench at the weekend. Look's like things might be picking up for him, he's a player I definately wouldn't have any concerns coming on or even starting come to think of it.
  14. That price is no bad, the pitches at the palace grounds are similar and the pitz is usually about a fiver IIRC.
  15. Depends on the nature of the injury, his brief spell in the first team last year might have been premature return and done nothing but aggrevate it. He's officially listed as injured for just about every game we play these days, which is released by the club along with the team sheets each week. Canny see beyond that fact: if it says he's injured, then he's injured. As for the lost interest idea... he's probably completely scunnered at being out so long and his head might be going down so it's easy to see how chinese whispers could turn that into 'lost interest'.
  16. Got mine today, 170 sold so far.
  17. Think Rangers are in for a scare, might not neccessarily mean we'll win but it'll no be an easy 3 points for them. I'm going to head along, not been to ibrox in years but our recent away form has tempted me. We've also never been beaten by Rangers under Brown, granted it's only been 2 games but it's a nice stat to hold onto.

    Rangers Tickets

Think I'll go to this, the good away form has swung it for me. Not that I'm expecting a win but I think we'll put up a good fight.

    Jamie Murphy

Vital away goal (if that counts) for Jamie, will do his confidence the world of good. Good timing for the trip to ibrox!
  20. Post split fixtures at a neutral venue?
  21. Good stuff. It's no a bad wee club to support sometimes is it?
  22. General point here but what about the argument that by having a bit more 'fodder' (excuse the term) in the league there is potential for one or two teams to keep pace with the Old Firm, instead of the 'cut each others throat' scenario we have just now.
