Good to see prices still cut for this leg. Hopefully we'll get a similar, or bigger crowd to the last game. Might be a rare chance for familys to get to a wee run of games (albiet maybe only 2) before the new season kicks in.

I'd take a guess that they've been trying to that very thing since the end of last season. Even young players will be on a daft wage, which we'll be expected to pay a share of. I think we were very lucky with loan players last year as they clearly had more to offer than was realised at their clubs.

I'll just echo whats already been posted. Sad to see him go but glad he's got a move to a good club he'll be getting a regular start at. As a few folk have said, his attitude was absolutely spot on. A lot of players could learn something from him in that sense.

To be fair, it's more prevalent in some sections of the media than others. The daily red tops are determined to rip Scottish football to peices at every opportunity. Our defeat to Nancy is a prime example of this. They fact that they aren't a major European force completely overshadowed the fact that they had a bigger budget than either of the Old Firm that year (I'm sure they had spent in region of £15m?) That's nothing but cynicism and ignorance. On the other hand, I find some Radio programs fairly inclusive and positive. I thought the coverage of the Briedablik away leg on Radio Scotland was very good. A lot of positivity and genuine excitement about Motherwell and Hibs (and Celtics) upcoming games. Any neutral would have been left with a good feeling about these games.

I'm sure she's aware of that. The other unfortunate reality for us is that if we want to remain an SPL side then those are the prices the club need to charge.

Exactly I wasn't complaining by the way. Absolutely delighted with the result and I never expect much from the team so early in the season.

I was impressed with Briedablik, certainly passed the ball around well enough and had plenty of creativity in the midfield. Created us problems at times. A bit of luck and you could have scored a 2 or 3 over the two legs. All the best for the rest of the season!

Quinn money + money from progressing a couple of rounds into the Europa League and this could be fact. That said, he's maybe a bigger fish than the fir park pond can hold. Would he want to be here another season? I know he said towards the end of the season he did but from I've heard he's been getting spells during Evertons pre-season. I think I'd greet then have a stroke if he came back.

Oh aye, Darren Smith has just signed a one year deal at Rossy County. Glad to see him get a contract at a half decent team, hope it goes well for him.

Europe is a luxury for a 'well fan and who knows when we will qualify next so you can't blame folk for getting excited about every single detail. The game is also pretty soon, so no harm in getting arrangements ready should be qualify. You'll probably find the Breidablik support will have one eye on the next round too. Particularly as it's much more accessible to them, they'll be discussing travel arrangements much like us.
