  1. This They either find some other company’s capable to stream live games or sort this mess out
  2. Brilliant work. Maybe cannot blame the club but this company are clearly not up to the job
  3. I would but have just been kicked out and can not get back in.........
  4. Thankfully we are not paying for this......wait a minute. What is it with this company. Are they just useless. V Rangers did not get on until 2nd half. At least I can see the game but occasionally freezing and no sound like everyone else. Amateur hour !
  5. Not seen this mentioned anywhere but then you seem to be in the know on most things. If true would be a blow after only one league game. I thought he came out with a lot of credit for his performance on Monday evening.
  6. Last season we finished 3rd yet only took 1 point from 1st two games albeit that included a home game v Celtic. For all last night was disappointing it was still a better performance than Livi away in our 1st game last season where we managed to steal a draw 0-0. Indeed I think we only had 9 points from 1st 6 games. Win at home v United and we are in a similar position points wise average and better off on total points. I thought McGinley played well which was encouraging. I thought Seedorf played well which was surprising. I thought Grimmy was poor which is worrying. I like him loads but he is definitely the weak link at the back. The BBC stats show a positive light as u hope we will start converting some of these chances in the games to come. No news on Campbell injury so it was baffling he did not start. We are truly spoiled in midfield but Turnbull out wide is not the answer. Disappointing result but in many ways typical Motherwell.....Hopes up and dashed once again.
  7. Kris Boyd is a bawbag of the highest proportions. Thought the defence was fine Gallachers clumsy challenge aside. He defo gets the ball but also the man and it looked all the world a penalty. Was impressed by McGinley. Lamie also had a decent competitive debut. We were OK second half and should have taken something from the game. Grimmy. Where to start. How is it possible to keep giving throw ins straight to the opposition. Basic stuff. Turnbull needs to be central and Campbell should start. Would be tempted to try Donnelly or someone else at right back. Not the start we wanted but it is the Motherwell way.
  8. I suspect we don’t have one yet. Simple as that. We were all over LinkedIn last few weeks actively touting sponsorship. After tonight might be tougher.
  9. We have been much better second half. Cannot countenance missing a sitter and a penalty. Deserve to be level at least. Impressed with McGinley. Lamie been fairly solid. Even Seedorf has been decent. A night where it seems we are destined to take nothing but some signs of hope.
  10. We are all over LinkedIn at the moment and also working with an online sponsorship company so I would suggest we are still without a front shirt sponsor or that interested parties have not met our valuation. Difficult in that apparently Paddy Power was our most lucrative in recent times and now to look for a follow up sponsor during Covid - going to be very tough. Fingers crossed we get something sorted. We have European football even if it is likely to be TV only. As for why we are still playing in last years kits ?
  11. Planned maintenance on the servers at kick off. I mean what could possibly go wrong..... I get that the KO was moved but it does explain why it failed for so many at 8pm.
  12. Probably because we are not glamorous enough to be invited to play in a tournament in France v Lyon etc That and a global pandemic means we are restricted in our options
  13. Was it that long ago that we beat Rangers 6-1 over 2 legs when they had a more comparable but still bigger budget. As COF mentions every dog has it day but more often than not most sides will be comfortably beaten by the Old firm as they have much bigger budgets and therefore better players.
  14. Does that come as much of a surprise ? Celtic got spanked by 4 off PSG midweek and the facts are that the gap between Motherwell and Celtic in terms of resources is bigger than the gap between PSG and Celtic. The old firm pay average wages of between £400-£700k per annum and we pay circa £45k per annum. Why is anyone surprised when we lose by 3 or 4 goals to the Old firm. I am not saying like it. I am just saying it is not unexpected. That plus Rangers had more game time v better opposition meant we had the 1st half we got last night. Of more importance is I hope the club acknowledge the clusterfuck that was the streaming service last night. Not being able to access the game until the 2nd half was a blessing but bloody annoying !
  15. Good and honest assessment from the gaffer on Twitter. Rangers have played 4 x 90 Minutes and we have played 2 x45 minutes. We don’t have the Betfred games to bed us in where we tend to dominate and win comfortably but probably learn very little. We have opted to play Rangers twice and Celtic once in pre season. Will be a hard test but also a better barometer of where we need to get to by start of the season. Not going to p1ss my pants on one pre season game v Rangers. Unlike some on here. Like Groundhog Day sometimes.
  16. I noted on Twitter we now have a friendly lined up v Celtic on Sunday. Interesting friendlies - both of the Old Firm. Wonder if we will get a stream for that game ?
  17. Not again Weeyin..... Oxford offered a significant transfer fee to Columbus to keep Cadden. Reportedly much more than they would have had to pay us for his development fee. All because they thought they could be smart arses and avoid paying us. Columbus tell them to do one and now they stay in League One....Karma. I know we did it with one or two players from down south. But that is different. We are Motherwell. All that counts
  18. Not in the championship anyway......KARMA.....
  19. Based on the fact that we have a stronger squad than the one that finished 3rd last season ? Based on the fact Hearts should not be in the league. Based on the fact that other teams may not be able to add as much quality to their squads due to Covid19 impact. Not having a go but not sure the facts back up your concerns. I am only concerned because when we get our hopes up usually we come a cropper. No science behind this - just a lifetime following Motherwell FC.
  20. I was in a poor mood last night you could probably tell... Agree with all of the above. Especially demotion of teams from Champions League. As hard as they might try to defend themselves almost every decision UEFA make is to favour the larger, more popular and better supported sides in Europe. It is almost exclusively geared so there are very few small teams able to venture far in their respective competitions.
  21. Bizarre. Not sure we could afford Lang, Long, Watt and White up front. That would be strongest midfield and Attacking options in many a year. Unless we know one of our prized assets is heading out the door also.....
  22. Would appear to suggest he is staying and if so then no Lang. Was excited about Lang but also big fan of Long. Just hope if true then he can get his focus and attitude right. If he kicks on from last season then very exciting.
  23. The Euro play offs are one legged affairs. So we play Israel at home and then Norway or Serbia away. That is what I mean. That was dreamed up by UEFA and we all accept it. Uefa dreamed up one legged qualifying ties for Europa qualifying and again if we got 2 or 3 away draws then bad luck but we accept it. Under normal circumstances Well fans could still travel to these away games. Suddenly deciding that means no crowds for sporting integrity is such a crock of shit. If they said because of Covid then fine but don’t give me sporting integrity from UEFA of all institutions !
  24. Wait a minute.... The Euro play offs are either home or away games and everyone knows that before ties are even drawn. Luck of the draw. If UEFA knew fuck all about sporting integrity they would have scrapped the group stageS and had home and away knockout ties right up to the final. But that would mean no lucrative TV revenue for larger clubs.
  25. Not sure I believe what I am reading on the BBC website UEFA stating that for sporting fairness all qualifying ties this year will be played behind closed doors. WTF - so if we in the UK can allow fans back in stadiums UEFA can decide otherwise ? Of course that will all change once the group stages start and big teams come into play. Bunch of fucking tossers if true.
