I was told a 60 seater and then an 80 seater. There were supposedly only 30 fan places available.

We are trying to live within our means. The squad we have and wages we pay means that we still require a top 6 finish and decent run in the cups or we will post another loss, so I am led to believe. That being the case - then Steelboy et al should wake up and smell the coffee. Not saying we could not have signed certain other players instead of the ones we have signed, but.... This is the limit for the squad as far as we can afford unless one of us wins the Euromillions or a Sheikh takes a fancy to claret and amber. I am more than happy with the squad. McCall did say another right sided wide player on loan..but that is us.... Fingers crossed we keep a relatively fit squad...but that is the same every season.

The only positive aspect of this draw was that it was a team from another country to tick off the list. Apart from that is was utter garbage and a huge let down, Sure those that go will have a great time and I am sure the locals will welcome Well fans as a bit of a novelty, but..... The club will probably make little or no money Very few fans will get to go to the away leg They are or appear to be a very decent team but with no glamour to attract a large home crowd or neutrals Apart from Dortmund, Pana and maybe S Bucharest the draws have been a let down. We would have taken over a 1000 to at least a dozen other teams like Seville, Brugge, Utrecht....etc A well not to be - just need to win the tie or finish in Europe again next season as Cup winners :-)

I think the fact that McCall was/is looking at Arnier suggests that he also believes another option up front would be favoured. Less players have come in than left and probably on less wages excluding Faddy and probably McManus. If we we're likely to make another loss then I would say absolutely stop now. But I suspect t even with another couple of additions we would have reduced our wage bill by a 6 figure sum. No facts to back it up - just a hunch....

Well argued until one of them is injured for any length of time....hopefully this will not happen. But we have been incredibly lucky the past two seasons. That is why i think we need another option upfront...

Bollox.... I acccept £25 is a bit steep, but still only a few £'s more than an SPL game. This will likley be our one and only tie - love to be wrong, but if their sqaud is worth £50m and ours £3m....... On this occasion we will be lucky to break even on this tie unless Russian TV comes in. Unlikely since they are not a fashionable Moscow club... They could not really make it less than £20. I have never missed a home Euro tie and hopefully never will...

Too early to judge Lawson - for me anyway. I have only seen him play against Newcastle and most of the players struggled to an extent. 95% of games played this coming season will be in the SPL. He has proved he can cut it at this level or so we hear... We have a fairly strong 1st 11 as it stands, but the 2 vacancies (if there are 2) could be crucial in terms of our season. Hence I like the fact that McCall stated he was unsure about Arnier. He has looked ok in patches, but we need to be sure he will perform over a season....we need to try and get a goalscorer on loan if needs be.

Just watched the goals of the season DVD. If only we could have kept Humphrey, Ojamma, Higdon and Law.... Still we had them all for the last Euro campaign and we did not do much. There is not a lot of pace in this team and that worries me. I think we will be fine for the SPL, but I fear a Euro repeat of last year. I would like to see ZFA given a chance, but agree we need an out and out goal scorer. Not easy to find, but maybe a loan player from the EPL.

I like Zaine a lot. I reckon he will make the breakthrough this season. Raw yes, but likely to create something when he is on the ball.

£15 would be braw, but there is no way you can price a Euro tie for the same as a friendly and less than an SPL game. Well there is, but we need to pay for these players...... I expect to see prices around £20-£25. I would be happy if we could get circa 7-8000 in for the game given they are not well known...even if they look like they have a decent side. More excited than I was when the draw was 1st made...and I expect same come the evening itself

Hope it was precautionary rather than out for a few weeks . He just walked off the pitch, then had treatment for about 10 -15 mins. He walked round the pitch second half and watched game so not sure what the status is. Great free kick from Boab and decent goal from the Captain. Apart from that pretty tame game and fairly quiet compared to Morecambe.

So have we. Was not heading to Morecambe but 4 of us now heading to see the Blue Brazil and the prodigal son :-) :-) :-)

Ermmm NO A team that will have played competitive games and are full of players from Brazil etc Even were we to gain the upper hand in the 1st leg, they will make sure the ref knows what is what come the return leg At least Faddy signed on today. This draw was quite literally the 2nd or 3rd worst we could have gotten in terms of glamour, accessibility and revenue. Disappointed but who knows we may sneak through and get a glamour draw next round - just think it will be TUFF

That would be OK, as long as we avoid Bursaspor..... Imagine Seville - 2 times winnesr in recent years. We would get our arses felt, but at least we could bring out the calculator. I reckon 10,000 Well fans easy

I see Dila Gora of Georgia are 3-0 up on AAB :- Another potential shitey destination. I would be keen to avoid Russia, Turkey, Donetsk + Zilina. The rest are game on Odessa - the Odessa files........ have a 1 in 15 chance of being right, but I reckon we will draw Rapid Vienna or Stum Graz which would do me. Top choices would be Estoril, Vitesse, Brugge, Seville + Udinese.
